- According to Dave Meltzer, Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho is in play as a possibility for the WWE title match for Sunday Night's main event at the No Mercy PPV in Chicago, IL.
I know it's Meltzer..but anyway, allegedly, it is a possibility, it would be a great match and would mean Jericho would be champ because he wouldn't come back and lose.

If Jericho comes back AND wins the title, I might just crapa brick or two. I haven't been so excited for a WWE PPV in years because of these rumors.

Sounds about right I wouldn't put it past WWE to job Punk to Big Daddy V and then have him face Orton later that night and job to Orton as well since it's Punks hometown and all. They could do that just to have someone to feed to Orton and still keep Punk on the ECW brand. |

The title of this thread is Chris Jericho to face Orton at No Mercy...
But in the actual article it says in play as a possibility.
Big difference. We've already had about 7 people as a 'possibility.'

Possibility.. KEY WORD... The only reason its a POSSIBILITY is because there are so many rumors around the 222 thing. Meltzer is a waste of sperm, and the people who listen to him like hes a  ing profit are brain dead. |

People get too excited thinking about what something says rather than paying attention to what it says. Again may I point out that Meltzer didn't say anything about Jericho supposedly signing with WWE until 3 days AFTER the Save Us 222 thing started. And even then he said the signing was almost 2 weeks old. He doesn't know crap. People need to stop investing in everything dirt sheets say. |

Meltzer knows nothing more than what we fans know. He saw the Save_us.222 video, and said the same thing we all said when we first saw it, "HOLY SHIT, THIS MIGHT BE FOR JERICHO!" So, he covers his ass by saying its A POSSIBILITY. Proving that he knows nothing more than the average fan. Just stop going to his site.. Everything you need to know is here already anyway. |
