Just picked up the Kane Elite 12, I want to pair it with a Taker figure from when Kane debuted. The DM Taker looked close to me, but with so many Taker figures out there I wasn't sure if I missed one.

Or maybe the HOC one but I don’t have that yet so I can’t say for sure. Pretty sure that figure was based off his tag title run with Big Show. Unholy Alliance. Either way it has a little bit of red in his attire that would complement a side by side with Kane very well.

The Kane is 97 so the closest timeline wise is either the DM w wings (late 96) or, tho it is a basic, the 98 Summerslam Taker. On this topic, im jonesing for Mattel to release a proper 1997 or even a WM14 Taker elite..... hopefully soon

On this topic, im jonesing for Mattel to release a proper 1997 or even a WM14 Taker elite..... hopefully soon Isn’t the Network Spotlight Taker a 97/98 look? I’m not sure. I don’t own it and only seen a pic without the robe once a while back. I mean the head is more 99 Ministry but I think the attire is the 97/98 style. |

The attire is semi passable but the fig really is a 99/ministry taker. Its odd that weve had three different 99 Takers at this point and not one 97 elite |

That Kane,in all reality, works all the way up to the year 2000.
But I would use a still unreleased WM14 Taker elite, HOC, or Network Spotlight.

Kane wore that gear from 1997 to 1999, and he wore a version that was completely sewed together on the left side with the original right flame design on both sides from 1999 to 2000. The first two Ministry Takers plus the basic Summerslam one go with the 97-99 version and the HOC one goes with the 99-00 & inverse attires
