Wasn't sure where to put this, but I felt I needed to. One of the Facebook groups I frequent mentioned the passing of Bill Thomson, who I remember speaking with on here several times back in the day. Whether making deals for figures or discussing customs, he always seemed like a decent guy. He is survived by his wife and two children. I just wanted to pay him some sort of tribute. Very sad about Bill 😔 he was a great friend |

Ah, Negan, the good admin. Is there a way to lower my warning level? I got a warning ages ago because one of the bad admins misread a comment and when I pointed it out to him he said "oh yeah, sorry" and left it as it was. One day the people will rise up against the corrupt admins. You will be spared.
Oh and forget the tax dodging, scrounging royal family. I'm all for a republic led by President Corbyn.

We've not got it here yet, but there's yellow and amber warnings all around us. I'm hoping for some so I can ring up work tomorrow and use up some holiday. |

I personally don't see it as a big deal. To me it's just shin high snow.  I love going out walks with my friend in it at night. |

I've been watching it from home for a few days now. Seems like 90% of the time I look out the window it's snowing. The snow in my garden is approaching two feet now because of clearing the path multiple times and dumping it on the grass. Also, I'm supposed to having my first driving lesson on Monday so I bet that gets cancelled. |

Crawled all the way to work in second gear up and down slippy hills and windy roads as you get in these countryside / market town areas to find out we've been given a snow day!
Now to sit back with some New Star Soccer and some awful day time TV.

Well, I never thought I'd see a sandstorm on the IOM, but today - I saw it. They ended up closing Douglas promenade because of it - which meant work was slow as Hell today.

Even Smyths were closed today!! Was appalled by TRU so thought I'd cheer myself up with Smyths and all the shutters were down. Lame.
