How does it even fall through the cracks to begin with? It's things like this that make Mattel look really incompetent at times. Bill strikes me as the the type who penny pinches when it comes to building the figures as well. There have been countless times when a released figure is inaccurate and/or missing something. I remember a video not too long ago where Mick Foley's daughter mentioned to him that he left something out/made a mistake with a figure and he said something along the lines of "my bad" without sounding too apologetic and Foley's daughter said something like "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh Billllll" like he'd dropped another doozy. On the plus side, it debunks the S P R E A D S H E E T theory Bill's not the Budget Man, he doesn't need to penny pinch lol, he works within the budget he's given

Yeah it kind of sucks, but cloth tape is like a dollar and it'll do the job This. It will look more realistic too and you can reuse the Kurt for other scenarios Tape and those little rubberbands for braces are miracle workers for little fix-ups (tape for Slater's wristbands, Neville's armbands, etc)

Look, I'm just glad to get a Ron Simmons with that version of the WCW belt. Torso may not be 100% but whatever. It's a mass produced $20 toy. I'm ok with it. If it was like a $65+ figure, yeah, I'd be peeved, but it's not and again I'm just happy we're getting this. Now get us a Farooq with helmet!!!!! I'd agree with you if we were talking about them having to design a new torso for him, but they could have easily used a beefier one already in circulation. It's a baffling design decision, regardless of the figure's price point. Yeah, a simple decision could have been made but again, it's not driving me nuts. It's not like they have him a skinny body or Yokozuna body or something. Macho wasn't as shredded as they make him but it is what it is.

I like the “2 in the pink and 1 in the stink” Matt hardy. I also think that Carmella figure is pretty damn awesome. Naomi should have a bigger ass but hey you can’t get everything you hope for.

Flashback Shawn will hopefully have his tattoo. Bill said he put in an order to get it added but he isn’t sure he did it soon enough. How does it even fall through the cracks to begin with? Laziness to be honest. They just took the mold from the Ringside Exclusive (the 92/93 era one not the DX one) and probably didn’t think about it. I don’t know how Mattel constantly makes such silly mistakes like this.

Everything is “laziness”... What would you classify it as? Clearly they knew with further review that the figure should have the tattoo. However, all it takes is a WrestleMania 10 reference pic to see that he had the tattoo at the time. Being the top toy company in the world and not reviewing something like that to me falls under the laziness category. As a college student if I write a paper and forget to cite my references in my paper that would be laziness on my part.

Prime Ron Simmons was a much larger man than Alberto Del Rio. The man was thick and wide, similar to Davey Boy Smith but naturally lol. Wide chest, thick huge legs and keister lol. Mattel has a damn good parts catalog, it's just missing a few needed molds. Beefier singlet, thick but non muscular torso that isn't Hulk Hogan or Rusev, and maybe singlet mold on the original bald Kane chest for his 2001-03 days. All we really need desperately imo.

Everything is “laziness”... I wonder what the staffing situation is for the WWE team. With the all of the store exclusives, the main line, and the zimbie/mutants, Mattel seems to be putting out an all-time high number of figures. Even with other people designing basics and retros, that's still a lot of figures. If you're stretched too thin, mistakes are bound to slip through the cracks. And while Bill is obviously a huge wrestling fan, there's a good chance others on the team know next to nothing about WWE. We ultimately know nothing about what the production and approval process is, but it does seem like maybe there needs to be more support for the line.

Here is both a gif of Stephanie post Milk-o-Mania and a gif of this place if Roman wins the Elimination Chamber match (which I don't think he will) ...I really hope Roman doesn't win the EC match - I actually quite like him, but it would all just be SO predictable... Throw us a curve-ball please. Naomi should have a bigger ass but hey you can’t get everything you hope for. ...with all the plastic they would need for that thing, it would be waaay over budget

I’m not the one to defend Mattel and Bill no matter what, but I don’t know about laziness. Maybe an oversight would be better. He’s a collector and a mega fan, I’m sure he wants all the figures the absolute best he can. Maybe he’s working on 50 figs, and designing 50 more, and dealing with whatever else. Some obvious things from the outside looking in, go unnoticed Still doesn’t explain decisions like Jakes torso, Old Man Flairs torso, and other things but I don’t think it’s laziness. He probably wants a lot of things, but works for the huge corporation who is saying ‘F the tattoo, get them into production’. Maybe we can bait them into buying up any HBK’s that might still be at retail to fix it LOL

I meant like Elsworth skinny. I'm not saying it couldn't have been better with a simple choice, but it's set, and either you're buying it or not. I am. And it's something I can overlook in the big picture of being just glad they made this.

If there are no spreadsheets, then please tell me why Savage never got tall boots the new u.s.a savage coming with the same left kneepad maniacs savage came with makes me feel they have some sort of computer program that most of the parts are punched in to that saves them time. There are a lot more examples that i cant think of right now but it makes sense Instead of the design team punching in all the part numbers/codes everytime they make a yokozuna, they just pull up the file and change colors and send it out. I think the real question is why wouldnt they have spreadsheets You would think everytime they make an ultimate warrior elite , how much time they save using a program that has the parts used stored, they wont have to try to remember what the name of each thigh mold he used was or the size of shin? Theres definetly a program used (a.k.a the infamous "spreadsheet")

Where the did this spreadsheets thing originate? I wouldn't hold my breath. I think it's easier to change the US Constitution than it is to get Mattel to change what parts they use for certain wrestlers. In almost a DECADE we've seen only a handful of people have their original parts changed, despite numerous suggestions and complaints for years and years and years. Big Show still with no closed right fist, despite the WMD being his PRIMARY FINISHING MOVE for almost 10 years. I think all the body parts are numbered and they just put these figures together based on a spreadsheet and don't even look at the actual figures anymore. Clerical error is the only way somebody can explain Elite 50 Rhyno with those arms. It's like somebody was off by a digit and he got those arms instead of the ones he was supposed to have. Mattel I think just put these figures together using a spreadsheet. I don't think they even look at them before production anymore. Each part probably has a certain number associated with it, so once the spreadsheet says Macho Man gets a certain torso or arms, it's impossible for Mattel to change because they don't care. It's easier to change the United States Constitution than it is to get Mattel to change a body part they use for any of the wrestling figures. We complain all the time about how Seth Rollins legs are too thin, AJ Styles, Chris Jericho, and Daniel Bryan's torsos are too small, how Kevin Owens arms are too big....but it falls on deaf ears because somebody worked really not that hard for 15 minutes one day putting that spreadsheet together and it would take a few minutes to go on Google.com and actually look at some pics of the wrestlers once in a while to see if their parts choices were accurate or not. We are not asking Mattel to use time or money to create new molds either. Me make suggestions based on WHAT ALREADY EXISTS that would make their figures more accurate......nothing ever gets done. Same wrong parts for years and years and years and years. We still don't even have a Big Show with a closed fist. He's only been using the WMD as his primary finisher for 10 years. No rush, Mattel. Of course lol.
