 don't mind me. Just real life Schneider standing at ringside filming the wrestler who most inspired the Schneider in ring style I am not entirely sure who either of those guys are but Schneider's wrestling style always reminded me of Nick Gage or Nick Mondo. |

Got to abuse my power a bit more and correct the numbering error I made somewhere around chapter 9 or 10 of the Daniel Kirkbride story. Was gonna roll all that in to my DB profile as a bit of Brennan's story plays out there, but then I remembered how much I hated DK, and I changed my mind.
I've updated the sign up thread to indicate when the card can be expected in case anyone was on the fence. I know this coming week is a big holiday week in the US (I'll be on vacation myself), so at the earliest, the card for Chicago will go up sometime after the 4th, and then we'll afford our standard flexible writing period of ~10 days to coincide with a Sunday deadline.

While by the end, I was entirely doing Masada/Thumbtack Jack/gross out horror, the actual in ring wrestling style was mostly influenced by Eddie Kingston. Backfists, legitimate Japanese businessman kick, suplexes, wild brawling strikes.. The other man in the ring is in fact Mance Warner. if wrestling is just, he'll be on TV in the next 3 years |

The other man in the ring is in fact Mance Warner. if wrestling is just, he'll be on TV in the next 3 years I don't watch this stuff, but I've got a totally irrational vendetta against Masada that has no bearing on his talent or anything like that. There's these kids in my town that fancy themselves entrepreneurs, and they "run" a business that's supposed to be equal parts fashion line, podcast, show (music) booking, journalism, and wrestling. They have "sponsored" athletes in the same vein as Strong Style Brand, except nobody but them and their family/friends wants to own or wear any of the crap. Somehow, Masada is one of their athletes. They never shut up about him, and to hear them talk, you'd think he's the second coming of [insert actual legend's name here] |

Curious, I did some research and found an old thread about "hating a wrestler for personal reasons" and a few people there were talking about Masada and some of the stories they'd heard. This quote really stood out to me, " If you are someone that dislikes Jay Briscoe for his views on stuff, you will really really really HATE Masada." Wow.
Apparently, Masada works for cheap and can still draw.
When you says kids, do you mean like...actual kids or young adults? Either way - that's very weird. What benefits does he get from being a "sponser" for a company that no one's heard of?

Me and a buddy were just talking guys that our local indies bring in from time to time, and who does and doesn't cross our personal boundaries of acts we can back and all that.
I've been lucky enough, thus far, to only feel moral obligation to skip out on the time they brought in Teddy Hart.
