I didn't take your any of your reasonings personal, I get it. I'm glad, but all the same, I think it bore saying. Contrary to popular opinion, I do like to make good when I feel I've done wrong. I'm confused. I thought you could do no wrong.

I'm practically perfect in every way, but much like a poorly placed children's toy can cause harm to another through no express fault of its own, I, too, am capable of doing wrong to others simply by inconveniently existing.

Do you happen to remember any of his RPs? I'd like to read them. I linked one in my initial mention/apology-esque post, but that's the one I generally harp on, so maybe not the best example. His stuff kinda erred on the "shot and silly" end of things, but I always remember enjoying the light nature of Goth-Looking Clerk. He definitely had a market cornered as one of the more lighthearted characters, but I dunno, I dug it. I read the first one and DB did sound a bit corny. I can understand why it's still a sore subject for you. When I say #letmewriteforsmash, I don't mean that I'll hijack him and turn him into a joke or do whatever I want with him. I'll work alongside with you to tell the story that you weren't creatively inspired to tell when you brought him back briefly. I love the character and the whole Uber-on-the-side bit, I dunno. Smash has the potential to have a good comeback story. The second RP was hilarious. I liked it! Carter kinda reminds me of Mesh in a way.

The roster was pretty heavy when I first came in with Brennan, and so I tend to classify the names I remember from that general time frame into names I remember for good reason, and names I remember for bad reason. In spite of my constant retreading of his faux pas in writing Brennan without my seal of approval for a tag match we had, Carter generally falls into the former. He was at least semi-consistent, had a generally positive attitude, and at least had some semblance of an idea as to what he was doing. He's been offline for about six years, but I wouldn't shudder if he signed up again tomorrow. Do you happen to remember any of his RPs? I'd like to read them. If you go into the main WFWF forum, click the advanced search tool, select thread created by and enter his username (casalex) you can see the whole lot. forum.wrestlingfigs.com/board/64/wfwf-federation?filters[]=thread_created_by%3Aeq%3A7447 (that link isn't working but if you copy the lot and put it into your address bar it will. Here's the one he ended my second(?) National Title run with. forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/268251/revolution-fantastic-expensive-journey

Holy moly...I somehow managed to either completely forget or completely overlook the fact that he had a title run. That's...pretty bad, considering the work I did on tidying up the title histories.

Well run is a generous term, I believe he had one title win and one title loss without a defence (like half of my title 'runs').

I've come to learn that circumstantial tenure is the lone qualifier for any sort of WFWF title "run". Carter Contra is small fries compared to some of the accolades WFWF has come to boast.

Yikes - I've also just realized that I'm the penultimate B+ player. I currently hold the second longest (recorded) single reigns for both of the top titles.

As Carter's biggest vocal supporter...I'm not sure I'd want to see him back unless his attitude changed. I saw the signs, but I also saw potential and I weighed one over the other and...well...we saw how that turned out.

I remember the Andrew Carter saga, don’t remember anything with Contra?

Carter Contra was never an issue here. He always had a good attitude and was receptively appreciative of any feedback he received.

I was talking about Andrew Carter, and me backing him till I saw how bad of a sport he really was. Carter Contra was fine. He still hangs around WF, but doubt he'd ever come back to WFWF.

I legit barely remember either of these people.
The names ring a bell because they seem to get brought up here from time to time, but I don't remember either character.

Carter Contra was a chill dude. Kept his nose down, did his RPs, won a title, lost it, then left. Andrew Carter went ballistic on Schneider, Trace, and I believe Brennan. Holy hell that was a thing.

Carter Contra was the video game kid. All his RPs had a flashback scene to the arcade his character went to as a kid with mean old Mr. Smithers, the owner/operator being his primary antagonist. Andrew Carter had a series of impressive meltdowns over nonissues like delayed results and such that led to verbal whippings on behalf of several of WFWF's finest verbal whip crackers.
