According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Braun Strowman was pulled from the WrestleMania 34 singles match with WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz due to concern over the Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns main event at WrestleMania.
WWE feels that it is important to have a backup plan in case damaging evidence against Reigns may come out of the investigation that filmmaker Jon Bravo is doing. Reigns was implicated in a steroid ring by jailed steroids dealer Richard Rodriguez, along with actors Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel. Reigns has denied any accusations and Bravo noted that his report on WWE is complete. Bravo also notes that the report will contain evidence on Reigns and other former & current WWE Superstars.
At this time, there is no word on what Strowman will be doing, but he could end up in a match with Elias or Samoa Joe. However, Sports Illustrated reports that the IC Title match at Mania will feature Miz, Elias, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, and Finn Balor in a Fatal Five-Way match.
—— I Personally would rather see Braun versus Lesnar. Also I have read reports that John Cena vs Rey Mysterio is a possibility for Mania.

The first Lesnar/Strowman match was pretty bad, but I realize it's sort of the only direction they can go if Reigns has to be suspended.

I'm not a fan of Strowman so I'd prefer to see Reigns vs Lesnar. I think Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar is pretty much set in stone. Meltzer is just trying to stir things. Meltzer needs to be RKO'd.

Laughing at the fact this guy's name is jonny bravo, imagining the cartoon character reading a script.

I wonder what ever gave Meltzer the idea of Braun and Elias? Maybe because they had interaction on Monday so that’s the new idea I’d plan A,B.and C fail.

This is a super weird year surrounding the main event. With Brock's contract being up, Seth Rollins coming out of nowhere pushing for that spot last minute, Braun essentially earning that spot over the last six months but not being put in it, and Reigns winning despite all of those things occurring and now having this steroid thing dropping on him. Plus we have rumors with Bobby Lashley. Just ing weird. I mean the steroid situation was a reality before Mania season started. So if WWE has to pull Roman out weeks before Mania it's on them. Vince has been through a steroid scandal that almost put him out of business. The DEA raided Rodriguez's properties and he's working with the FBI in conjunction with the DA's office. Surely WWE knew the potential issues with this thing and they just pushed forward. I can't even predict what is going to happen next... And has anyone talked about why the hell Brock is wrestling on Saturday?

My vote is for Option C: Austin Aries returns to WWE and cashes in his Impact World Championship to challenge Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania.
Seriously though, if John Cena may still be looking for an opponent, and Strowman is now looking for an opponent... I know the prospect of this has passed since Braun is deep into his face push, but a face vs. face build with these two could be entertaining as hell. It's a much better idea than convoluting an Miz-Balor-Rollins Triple Threat. Just throw Mysterio into the Andre Battle Royal and have him win it and call it a day.

Lol, Vince would never suspend Roman if it meant him missing WrestleMania. Vince has been waiting four years for this moment, and nothing will stop it from happening.

Wasn’t there a rumour about reigns getting suspended around Mania 31? Déjà vue here again..
I kind of don’t think they will go with a suspension unless Reigns fails a drug test, I mean the pressure might be on if the reports come out as true but that could even take some time. They might just steer the course and get through Mania then figure out the game plan afterwards.

Finn. Bálor.
How hard is it for WWE Creative to see that THAT is your WrestleMania moment and story. Not Roman, not Braun... Finn Bálor regaining the Championship that he never lost. The Demon defeating The Beast. Clearly the company was going all in on Finn at SummerSlam 2016, Which was too soon (in my opinion)... so why not now?

If I had any say, I'd add Rollins to the match. Have him be a fly in their ointment, till they get fed up and let him in the match. That way it's a true WM rematch. If Roman is going to be suspended, have him eat the pin in the match. If not, have Rollins take it. Then if Brock does indeed leave, the feud is set for Roman vs Rollins after WM.
Then if Rollins is face and champion, with Roman suspended and Brock gone, this leaves the door open to Dean returning and feuding with Rollins over the WWE Universal championship. This time with Rollins as the face and Dean as the heel.

This whole thing could have been avoided if you didnt have your Universal Title on a half wit like Brock Lesnar. That title has been an absolute joke ever since it debuted. The only half watchable matches were when KO was champion.
The SDL main event literally just writes itself. You dont even have to come up with dumb storylines or promos. Just say "here, AJ vs Nakamura"...why do they struggle so much with RAW? Give the title to Finn and let him face Seth or Samoa Joe (if healthy)..seriously booking the wrestling card is by far the easiest thing ever if you just listen to fans.

I'm rooting for this guy to ruin Roman, I really am. Let WWE crumble under more negative PR. They deserve it.

Vince should just get it out of his system. This has been dragging on for almost 4 years now. We all knows it’s gonna happen so just accept it.
It’s not the end of the world anyway. I sat through the height of Super Cena so I can stomach Reigns who at least puts on decent matches and is overall edgier and cooler compared to Cena in his prime.
I have no real issue with Reigns.

They need people watching. He's tiny, and if he draws like people say he does then give him the shot on there with other guys his size.

I’ve honestly completely tuned out from this storyline at this point. I haven’t cared about Brock since the Strowman match in September and I’m neutral on Roman. Whether it’s Lesnar or Reigns that wins my reaction will just be “meh”. I don’t want Roman’s career to be ruined because of some steroid scandal though. The guy has a wife and a young daughter at home to take care of. As far as Brock goes, he can stay or go back to UFC. I don’t really care. For me the main event is AJ vs Nakamura regardless of what match goes on last.
