-- Right now the current plan in WWE is to hold off on Chris Jericho's return until after Survivor Series. They want to continue to run the viral marketing campaign which helps continue to draw higher ratings to RAW with much anticipation of his return. Survivor Series will take place on November 18th at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.

My guess is either he returns the night after Survivor Series or on the special 3-hour RAW.

Basically the past month or two has gone like this as far as "news" reports go:
"It is believed that Jericho will return this Sunday at No Mercy as the WWE wants him to take Cena's place as the top babyface in the company."
"As the fans who watched No Mercy last night already know, Jericho did not make his return. The idea was bounced around a lot backstage but ultimately it was decided that they didn't want to rush his return. Although, with a new WWE Champ crowned, it is possible that he'll make his return tonight on Raw to kick off a new feud."
"The word going around is that Jericho will be making his return the Monday before Cyber Sunday as it is October 22, 2007 and the videos are entitled save_us.222. The WWE hopes this will increase buyrates for the PPV."
"As seen last night on Raw, the promos for Jericho's return are now entitled save_us.X29. The X29 all but confirms that Jericho will be making his return next week on Raw: 10/29! Although the WWE could try to throw us a curve ball and have him return at Cyber Sunday the night before."
"Jericho's return video now emphasizes the number 19 so it is believed that Jericho's return date is scheduled for November 19th."

WWE has really drawn this out far too long. I still want Jericho back, but like everyone else I'm getting impatient and since everyone knows he is coming back they expect to see him a.s.a.p.

Look on the WAY WAY WAY bottom of WWE.com, underneath the disclaimers. There's like 7 links to the save_us.222 vids, and the last one to the right is from last Monday, and in the vid it says "The Code is the Answer" and flashes "19" around it.

this thread is full of what the problem with wrestling fans is & why it's impossible to make them happy. if you can't get what you want RIGHT NOW, then you don't care anymore. you're such a fickle bunch  you guys do it to yourselves by beating the initial save_us.222 thing into the ground and then some & it was the biggest thing EVER, after the 1st couple days everyone was sick of it, now fast forward a few weeks and it's "i don't care anymore." |

I don't watch wrestling any more, but I've seen this save_us campaign a while now, my question is, what caused him to leave in the first place? Injury? Or what happened, it seems like he hasn't been around for a very long time.
