97 Hart Foundation were THE dream in Hasbro form to me as a kid. I bought the Jakks figures of Bret, Bulldog and Owen based entirely on the jackets My favourite ever faction; I’d love a full Retro line-up of them, but of course that can’t happen as we all know At least I do own a killer custom of Owen. Would love some more versions of Bret, Bulldog and Anvil.

Thank goodness for the Mattel Pillman, because those early Jakks versions from '97 were made of nightmares. Holy smokes.

I'd prefer 4 Horsemen Pillman when he and Benoit wore the matching tights. But, 97' Hart Foundation would be cool too. We thought the same. Haha... Your custom work is top notch. Really impressive. Do you have any advice on removing painted logos? I want to remove the HHH logos so I can have plain purple pants. I know nothing about customizing other than simple head swaps, which I've done a lot of with retros. I converted a few Steve Austins into Demolition and Warlord. Also put different heads on sting and warrior. I figure if I could take the logos off the HHH, I could make somebody new.

Quick answer - we would blast right over those bad boys with some paint using an airbrush. I don’t want to get in trouble for hijacking this and turning it into a customs thread! LOL. PM us if you have specific questions.

I caved. Found the Macho Man retro on Ebay for $30 last night. Cheapest I've seen it at a Buy It Now price. There were a couple auctions this week, but with shipping the winner paid over $30 for them. Seems like a few are starting to pop up on Ebay, so that may be a good sign that they're being found in stores.

There’s a photo of a Ric Flair on the pegs in a Target in New York on one of the Facebook figure groups, so maybe things are starting to move finally.

I'm hoping they start showing up here, one store has 3 pegs full of S3, so doubt any will show up there soon. But, the 2nd store near me is down to 6 in the system (3 on the pegs). So hopeful they'll get some at some point. I would like a 2nd Macho and Flair.

Intresting, I suspect 4, 5, and 6 will start slowly showing up around Targets. Still want another Flair, Macho and Wolfpac Sting.

I cracked and got my 2nd set of series 4,5,6 on ebay. I now have 2 of each and they are yet to hit stores. I just got so tired of driving store to store for nothing.

I found Kofi & Xavier at a Target when I was out of town on Friday. I couldn't find Big E, Savage or someone to ask to check the back for more. It was the first time I've found new ones since November. I ask at the Target when I live (they have series 3) and the person scanned it and said they haven't gotten anything since early June and have nothing on the way but it is still in their system and they could get more.

I then spoke to Steve Ozer at SDCC and he said that that wasn’t right: all three series would be available for UK stores to order if they wanted - he mentioned the online Shop specifically as one to watch (they’ve had all three series since then). He also said that they didn’t consider the figures as being released in “series” (he asked me which figures I meant by “series 3”) so maybe Mattel don’t differentiate between which are offered where, or maybe he just meant something like they call them “waves” rather than “series”, I don’t know. Can’t predict anything with this line.

That’s my thinking, though they did include the first 12 Walmart figures on their ‘checklist’ of the whole line so maybe the numbering starts with them. Either way, I regret not clarifying that at the time, but I’m pretty sure it’s semantics rather than anything deeper.

Are they purposely trying to be mental with every facet of this line??? It's like Kane's storyline life in toy mode...Haha

I surprisingly saw Series 6 at my local Kmart in Long Beach, Ca but they’re priced at $15.49 each. They also had the new zombie figures as well. Not sure how many kmarts are even left though and I’ve never seen series 4 or 5 at any store.

Apologies guys, I didn't want to start a new thread for this so I'm kind of piggy-backing on this one with a couple of questions... I've just recently started collecting Retros here in the UK having picked up Series 2 for £4 each MOC on sale. I then went on to purchase Series 3, 4, 5, 6 and the Retro Ring online. The only figures I am now missing are Reigns and Owens from S1, and also Flair from S4. I understand Reigns is the rarest / most sought after right now, closely followed by S1 Owens. Can anyone give any advice on Flair, with regards to how easily obtainable he is in the UK, whether retailers still get their hands and re-stock him regularly, or whether he has entered the 'sought-after world' like the aforementioned others. I heard he was rumored to be in only 1 of 10 cases, and both he and Macho are slowly entering the same world as Reigns and Owens. Finally, have we had any further information or images on S9 other than confirmation of Goldust with wig accessory? Thanks in advance guys, apologies for the many questions and lack of knowledge! I'm excited to have a new collection in-flight, and look forward to the discussions

The shop of wrestling said the series with flair etc was a one-and-done situation. They know they can’t get anymore stock. Smyths said they won’t be stocking that series also. It seems that series just wasn’t destined for the UK.
I don’t get what happened with reigns and Owens but clearly they changed the packing and we never got them over here, bar 1 or 2 for silly prices here and there. I was lucky to have a friend in Canada who picked them up from his local Walmart when they came out. Shipping wasn’t even that extortionate.
It is quite worrying going forward that Mattel aren’t too bothered about distribution over here, but at least the online stores are carrying them.
