- The Elimination Chamber match is being brought back for the WWE No Way Out pay-per-view in February.
The storyline going into WrestleMania 24 is that the winner of the Royal Rumble in January will get to decide the champion he wants to face at WrestleMania. Then, the champion who isn't chose will have the Superstars from his brand go into an Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out. The winner of the Chamber match will get the other available title shot at WrestleMania 24.
*Note ECW is not taking seriously as a "world title" in WWE's eyes. Also no one on the ECW is WWE or World title material (as of yet). So say a Raw superstar wins and it's a SD EC, don't say where's ECW? and vice versa.

RAW has HBK, Kennedy, y2J, HHH, presumably Hardy and Umaga as well. I suppose If they tried the Smackdown EC could look something like Edge, Taker, Kane, Mysterio, and MVP/Finlay. It's hard to say pre Armegeddon. Should be good either way.

They couldnt fit Big Daddy V's ass in one of those chambers anyways. Literally, not even JUST his ass.
Id rather just see Morrison/Punk in a blockbuster.

If this happens, there will be ECW stars included... each brand means all three - even the WWE isn't stupid enough to leave out ECW from this... If anything, Punk will be in it... he is WHC /WWE championship material - I don't care what anybody says... if MVP is world title material, then so is Punk...

Here's how I'd like it booked. Focusing on no new champions prior to wrestlemania. Of course logic is  ed in making this work, not knowing who will win the rumble. (if Rumble winner picks WWE Champion (Raw's) Randy Orton) Elijah Burke vs Finlay vs John Morrison vs The Undertaker vs Edge vs Big Daddy V (If Rumber winner picks World Champion (Smackdown's) Batista) Shawn Michaels vs Elijah Burke vs Big Daddy V vs Jeff Hardy vs Chris Jericho vs Shelton Benjamin (If Rumber winner picks ECW Champion CM Punk) Rey Mysterio vs Shawn Michaels vs Jeff Hardy vs Edge vs Undertaker vs Chris Jericho ^_^ Don't tell me option three wouldn't make you shell out $40. |
