The Main Event is obviously going to deliver, Ultimate X should be a great match, hopefully the X-Division guys go over once and for all. Abyss vs. Mesias should be decent enough, both are good big men. The Knockouts Title match should be brillliant under No DQ rules, I'm hoping Kong gets the title, personally. Hoyt and Rave vs. LAX has a supprisingly appealing kinda vibe to it. Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash teaming should be interesting, hopefully TNA doesn't have them win the Tag Team Titles, but after the whole Pacman fiasco, I'm not going to bet against them getting the win. Should be a decent enough match if most of the action focuses on Joe/AJ. Only matches I'm not looking forward to are Booker T/Sharmell vs. Roode/Brooks & Kaz vs. Black Reign; but other than that, I'll definately be watching. |

Gotta love how TNA only books AJ/Tomko against teams where at least one member can’t wrestle for shit... interactions between Joe and AJ could’ve redeemed this match if we haven’t seen Joe and AJ interact a billion times before. The intergender tag will be forgettable… Roode’s appeal has been lost in this retardly dragged out storyline with Tracy, and Booker’s hype has deteriorated to nothing.
And nothing says Ultimate X like two tubs of lard living off their past accomplishments… hopefully this storyline ends here. I’m sick of watching an amazing tag team and the X-division titleholder tied up just so they can wrestle circles around these morons. Abyss, Kaz, and LAX all deserve better opponents and feuds…
If there was ever a one-match PPV, this is it. Cage/Angle looks to be the only half decent match/feud on this card. This’ll be a hit with all the beer drinking TNA fans out there… bathroom breaks galore.

I personally think it's an awesome card. Just make Abbyss vs Mesias a specialty and it's pure gold. Just bring back the old advert for it  "Ma New Years Reselution, is to become a betta musician" |

The only question is what name that is dumb and not logical can Russo and creative come up with for the match. Like "Doomsday Shop Of Horrors" or "Father Strikes Back Brawl" would probably do. |

So is the key to booking Abyss on PPV; put him in a gimmick match?
The last time Abyss was in a non-gimmick PPV match was No Surrender, in september, losing to Kurt Angle when he challenged for the TNA Heavyweight title.
The last time he won one without the gimmicks was in July.
Abyss is capable of performing without killing himself!

This card is awful but TNA hasn't had a great PPV in a LONG time. Even Bound For Glory wasn't that good this year. It had Joe/Christian & the Ultimate X match but the main event was a huge cluster  . |

It's a shame that LAX is going to be in a filler tag bout.
Team 3D in Ultimate X??? That's a disgrace!!! I love Ultimate X and always look forward to them, but not this one. This is going to be the worst Ultimate X match ever!
