thinking about buying a Nintendo Switch for my son. Wondering what you guys think about refurbished or would you recommend Kijiji or a big box store to get it from?
I'm a PC gamer, always have been, so I know very little about consoles. But my son's really into games on the ipad, so I figure this would be a nice upgrade.

I've only heard good to great things about the Switch. I see them go for a decently decreased price on Kijiji. In store you're looking at a pretty hefty price tag after the console and at least 1 game. The console alone retails at $399.99 last I checked. |

Went to Walmart Regent, Mcphillips in Winnipeg had nothing, new regent had Eite 56 except AJ Styles. Toys R Us on Regent and Polo also had nothing except Emtrace Greats JEff and Kurt.

I have the same concerns.. since the battery and screen are important, if the previous owner didn't take careful care of the console it might cause problems... also since you can hack the console, some account/console have been banned for online use by Nintendo, probably that the seller won't tell you about that... but at 399.99 it is quite expensive and there is not a lot of games released for the console. |

How was the... as Matt Hardy would say "condeeeeshion" of the figure though?? Was it played with at all, or just displayed??
Also, did the person not know how much it was worth?? Probably could have gotten at least $30 for it loose. You lucked out!

Definitely a kid looking to make some cash who's too old for toys. The condition is mostly fine. He was obviously played with but not much. The only scuffs were on his hair and the knuckle tats are a bit faded. I'll post pictures when I get home. I'll just have to touch up the hair and eyebrows a bit for display. I'm most excited for the ECW microphone for some reason. I tipped the kid $3 to bring it to an even $15. There was no negotiation, his post had photos with associating prices. Edit:  |

I have about 20 games for it. (Will be picking up Mario Tennis tomorrow) There are a lot of worthwhile titles till to come this year. As it stands the system has way more to offer in its first year than the Wii U did in it's entire lifespan. System was a lifesaver in the few power outs we had in Toronto this year. Kept me from complete boredom lol |

Stopped in at a random Walmart. Looked like they had just put out a full case of E59 because the numbers matched the breakdown posted here. No Gable.

I got them a few years ago when RSC was doing a sale on a bunch of their loose figure. I think they had some type of flood in the warehouse so they had tons of loose figures for sale. |

I actually got one myself this past christmas. For a while i didn’t really touch it because I was spending all my time on fortnite on pc. But the games should be great for your son, like Mario Kart, Mario Odessy, and Zelda. Plus fortnite is on it now if he’s into that! The handheld feature is definitely my favourite part though. Barely play it docked! |
