I went with Papa Shango. This really is a standout set. Flair, Akeem, Kamala...the only figure I managed to buy was The Godfather. I remember being super disappointed with him though. He had so many colorful airbrushed vests they could have made him in. Instead they put him in that bland maroon suit. The fur was cool af but I’d rather have had a bright and colorful outfit on him.

Bearer would get my vote if it wasn't for him being as tall as my Undertaker figure.
Voting for Flair because of how damn incredible that robe is.

I struggled between Bam Bam and Akeem on this one, but gave the win to Akeem. Unlike when they faced off in real life.

I'm gonna go with Flair. I loved that Robe, it was my favorite Jakks robe until the Pink Comcast version came out.
Akeem, Bam Bam, and Kamala were all nice, but the playability was horrible. Same with Shango, that larger torso/crotch mold limited movement in the legs. Godfather was too plain, the coat was nice tho, I still have it. LOD 2000 were ok, I passed on them at the time to. I also passed on Paul Bearer, I mean, if you have 1, you have them all.

That killed the Bearer, Heyman and Teddy Long figures for me. I didn’t notice it much as a kid but man I look back and cringe. The weight/height on them is terrible |

If not for the laced boots it would have been Hawk, but because they gave him the laced boots it was Flair.

I voted for Ric Flair as the robe plus the figure are great. Second place for me would be Bam Bam.

Back when this set came out I became the kind of collector that I hated and that was a collector who would nit pick and complain about everything, this was a set that I was super harsh on back in the day. I took collecting way too serious and I am sure that is why I got out of the hobby around 2008 as it was no fun any more. That was all on me as well, nothing to do with the quality of the work Jakks were doing. Really sucks looking back that I took it so far and I wish I just enjoyed wrestling figures for what they were.
Anyway back then, Bam Bam Bigelow, even with the unpainted back was my favorite. However now that I am looking at this series witha fresh set (and less jaded) eyes.I think that Ric Flair and Papa Shango are my favorites, I think I am going to give the vote to Papa Shango, even if the hat with the picture of the feather instead of the actual feather is a little weak.

Papa Shango here. Always loved the character, and while Ric is cool, why did he come with the Undisputed Championship? That brought the whole aesthetic of that figure down.
