Since El Patron was fired yesterday, the new Redemption main event will be Austin Aries vs Pentagon vs Fenix for the IMPACT World Championship! It was announced yesterday on HouseOfHardcores Twitch channel.
Aries/Penta/Fenix has potential to be the current day Daniels/Joe/Styles!

Are there details on why Patron was fired? No-showed the IMPACT/LU show, Nordholm went to check on him and couldn't find him.

I don't think any 3 way match can compete with Styles vs. Daniels vs. Joe.
Hell, even when TNA tried in 2006 and again in 2009 to have Styles vs. Daniels vs. Joe it failed in comparison to the Unbreakable 2005 match.

Yeah, I think the reason the match was so good was because of where it was on the timeline. It came at a time when TNA was in its total prime, and those three guys had really settled into the company and had found their place in the industry. Not to mention it was a great match, and the X-Division looked great over Cruiserweights. Now, TNA has no drive at all, and it will either die out soon or continue to collect dust and make no progress like it’s been doing.

It's pretty terrific that Alberto's been sacked. I hope he never finds work in pro-wrestling again.
Fenix and Penta are my two favourite luchadors, so this is exciting.
