I forgot to add I literally had this discussion with my fiance the day of Wrestlemania 34. She asked why a lot of people don't like Roman. She "likes" Roman as she only knows 2 wrestlers (the other being Cena) and of the 2, 1 wrestlers quite often. That or she just likes to tease me about my love of AJ Styles because the debate was why do people like AJ over Roman. Had a similar reaction to the dad in this video.

My fiancee is the same, she was asking me why the crowd was booing Reigns at Wrestlemania and even when we watch RAW sometimes.

My Son and I had a similar, but much more emotional feud during WrestleMania XXVIII. I'm a Rock fan and he's a John Cena fan. At the time, he was only 4. When the Rock won the match, he "quit" watching WWE. I told him not to worry, there has to be a rematch. Sure enough "Twice In A Lifetime" took place. This time, the Richest Prize in this Business was on the line. Needless to say, my Son felt great for not only getting revenge, but for winning the bigger match of the two.

My dad’s favorite wrestler was always Hogan, through the eighties and early 90s in then WWF, through the 90s in WCW and back again in WWE. I liked Hogan but I never cared for him the way he did. Every big Hogan match I always cheered for the other guy. Starccade 97 is the biggest one that comes to mind. At that point I was already a Sting guy, but I became more of a stinger when he became the crow and became dark like my other favorite Undertaker. This was the first ppv I got to stay up and watch all the way though live, it was basically my dad vs my brothers and me. When Sting won, we rubbed it in so bad. Even after my dad died I met Hogan and told him that story, cool moment where Hulk said he was a true Hulkamaniac and always will be.
Now fast forward 20 years I have my own kids and it’s almost the same thing. My daughter and son love Roman Reigns and John Cena. Let’s just say Wrestlemania was not too kind to them.
