So with Neville being in limbo. I had a theory of what they could possible do with him if he doesn't leave WWE.
They announced another UK Championship tournament, and they are still pushing to have a UK based show and even having a performance center in the UK. I believe Neville is going to be a surprise entrant in it. Saying he missed the first tournament, but not again and is finally getting the recognition he deserves. Wins they tournament and goes on to defeat Pete Dunne for the title.
This way WWE have one of their main roster guys being the face of the new UK show, giving the show some star power, and giving something good for Neville to do. He could even get something in his new contract that could let him work ICW or Progress events to help further the relationship between them and WWE.
I'm not saying Pete Dunne can't carry the show. He can and he will. But I'm just presenting a theory of what they might do with Neville.
Thoughts?

U.k is a step down from cruiserweight so I don't think he would do it he wanted to move up the ladder not down it
He did move out of Florida back to england so I don't think anything is bringing him back at this point

Neville vs Dunne would be enticing.
If he truly wants of of 205 Live, I'd like it if Neville attacks Bryan or Styles on SD. Or even Finn or Rollins on RAW. Put him in the ring with someone who can help him break through the glass ceiling. I also think him and McIntyre would have made a great team had they not had Dolph/McIntyre together.
Cause while I did love Neville in 205, he certainly earned the right to move on if he so chooses. Find him a spot somewhere on the card. If he's upset over money, cut him a check. Stop d*cking around and make this right.

I think he's a genuine potential main eventer.

It would have been cool to see him come back, but its been so long now I can honestly say I dont care anymore. Wouldnt mind seeing Regal or Finlay enter the UK title tourniment just to get some recognised names in there.

He should be one of the main stars on SmackDown by now. 205 Live was beneath him and UKCT is even further. I doubt he would return for that.
I want to see him back but I don’t think it’s going to happen. 😔

He is a star & very talented but I agree UKCT would be a great start for him plus he’ll be able to live back home when filming the UK shows.

I just dont see the UK title as a step up from the CW title imo it be a step back.

I think the strangest thing about the whole situation is that (as far as I'm aware) hes not shown up in any other promotion since leaving the company. The only reports that I've read is people in the company believing that he could return. I've not given up hope. I'd love to see him back as soon as possible. He would fit right in that stacked Smackdown roster. Dominate the mid card for a year and go on to have big maim event feuds with Styles, Bryan, Joe and Nakamura.
If not, hell go down as one of the biggest missed opportunities in history.

And that's real messed up imo.

Dean Ambrose didn't walk out of the company and he was on the pre-show. And as the IC Champ, former WWE Champ, he's a much more established wrestler and was arguably disrespected more than Neville at this specific event.
I mean, Nevill has the right to be upset, he did a great job with the title, but nobody can hold a title forever. Bruno. Hogan, Hart, Austin....everybody's lost titles. It is what it is.

Also, if Neville is really upset and believes he deserves more attention and status on RAW than he already had, he should take a look at what guys like Jericho, Mysterio, Guerrero, etc. went through before they entered WWE's mid-card and main-event positions.

I think people are forgetting the fact that he was going to remain in the CW division. That’s why he was mad. He put over Enzo like asked, but after that they had nothing for him. It’s been reported that for house shows, only the champ and the guy he’s working with are taken on the road. So if Enzo was moving on from Neville, and Neville was going to remain in the CW division, that’s a lot less money he’s making for working less house shows.
I’m not saying he’d be a main eventer, but after the work he put in for 205 Live, he earned a chance to work in the midcard of the main roster again. I could honestly see him being a solid upper-midcarder on SDL, as a face or heel, with the occasional match against the WWE Champ.
