Anyone getting this tomorrow? As a big fan of Quantic Dreams' work, I am definitely on it. I played the demo last weekend and enjoyed it a TON. There's gonna be so many endings, so many paths to take and choices to make. Gonna be a great game. The Digital Deluxe version on the PlayStation Store comes with the PS4 port of Heavy Rain. So after tomorrow, all 4 of David Cage's games will be available on PS4. Indigo Prophecy [aka Fahrenheit], Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human.

I am intrigued by it, I saw PowerPyx put up a bunch of trophy videos today (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1MV0P1hxZY&list=PLRr5L69yg_kEH3bXPG1l1Kl6wHXJQCD--) so I'll probably check it out. I did pick up Beyond from this month's PSPlus and I do want to check out Heavy Rain at some point. Do you have any trailers to recommend watching for any of the games? Last night I [spoilers in white] killed a drunk child abuser when he was trying to beat his daughter. This after he already smacked her across the face, when he turned the entire dining table over. |

This game is getting so good. It's definitely GOTY for me. I know some people would say "You can't determine GOTY when the year isn't over" - not people here, I'd hope - but some have said that to me. 2013 in particular when I said TLOU was GOTY, "There's still other games to come out, you can't determine that NOW!" was said to me.
I got my first ending as "Mission Failed" last night. Definitely gonna replay that one and see if I can get a different ending.

I'm gonna assume the failure was Connor. I'm all for this being in GotY contention. There's another game I've got my eyes on that has the ability to steal this award. Red Dead. |

Markus led an assault on the police. North died in the firefight.
Connor was about to free the slew of androids underground and another Connor showed up with Hank as a hostage, and Connor apologised but freed the androids. New Connor shot Hank.Got shot a couple times, and then transferred himself into the fresh Connor. Hank died there in the CyberLife building.
Kara and Alice were on their way to Canada, and a border patrol check occurred. Kara and Alice were discovered and then killed right there in the lobby.
Game of the Year. Hands down.

"The Visionary" Eldniw from PSPlus we got Beyond: Two Souls in May, in July we're getting Heavy Rain. Are there connections between the three games and does it matter the order you play? Or is it just from the same creator? Same creator, different stories, different worlds. He's made Indigo Project, Beyond: Two Souls, Heavy Rain, and Detroit: Become Human. They're all the same type of game, QTE, story changes as you play, and heavily story based. That's it for similarities. |

Nope. Didn't. I just put my text in white so you can't see it unless you highlight. And if you knowingly highlight something that is said to be in white font, then you have no recourse if you get spoiled on something because you voluntarily highlighted it to read it. Not an accidental click and BAM! Spoiled. LOL!
