Alright, since they make the championship shirts before a team wins the championship, does that mean they make shirts for the losers too, in case the team would have won?
So for instance, are there 1998 NBA Champ Utah Jazz shirts floating around out there somewhere in the world?
And where could I find a shirt like that?
Thanks for any info.

Yes, they do make championship shirts for the losers, however they are never released to the public. They are usually donated to some sort of charity to provide clothing to a poor country where things like clothes are hard to come by.

That's good that they donate them at least.

I remember at one Super Bowl that someone managed to get a hold of the losing team's Championship hat.
It's nice that they're donated, though. I originally thought that they were simply thrown away.

A few of my friends bought the Championship Final Four shirt of UCLA two years ago and the OSU one from this past Final Four. It was easy for them to get the UCLA one but they had to spend a lot of time finding someone to sell them an OSU one.

i have about 15 eagles super bowl champ t-shirts from the pats/eagles super bowl in jacksonville. i went to the game, and albeit demoralized after the loss, still bought them for like $1.50 a piece from some peddler in the parking lot. dont know where he got them, and i doubt they're officially licensed--as many of the shirts have screen printing errors. but he was desperate to get rid of them and i'm a sucker for sports memorabilia.

Wow, they actually donate them to 3rd world countries? I'd travel across the globe to find a 2000 Mets World Series shirt. But I doubt they exist since the Mets lost in 5.
