Pretty hard to cover both those guys. After Carter retired.......it was pretty much cover Moss and take away the passing game.

Well the Patriots rule and are gonna go 16-0 and beat everyone in the playoffs, even John Cena, and Mustafa and Randy Moss is gonna catch 380 balls for 400 TD's and have intercourse with all the white cheerleaders.

They were definitely contenders. Many people consider that team the best ever to not win the Superbowl.

Ok that's the year I said lol and they would have gotten killed by Denver anyways just like Atlanta did

I believe they would have leveled Denver and ruined Elway's Hollywood ending..

Yeah, the #6 defense in the league combined with the #1 offense in the history of the league is "suspect." Minnesota was the favorite in every single game they were in that season - the Superbowl would've been no different. If Gary Anderson makes that field goal, that Vikings team would've won the game, they would've won the Superbowl, and they would've been discussed as one of the best teams of the modern era of football. ... Oh, and the Vikings were in the playoffs 4 times when Moss was on the team.

Still, to this day, I dont know how this thread got started and how it became so big. Football hasnt really been in the news, nor has Randy Moss. Let the arguing stop until at least training camp. Lets focus on the good stuff
Like the Celtics ruining my childhood

If you were as old as me, you'd have fond memories of the Celtics from your childhood. But then again, you'd be really old.

Was it their fault they lost one more game? for the record, denver was number 3 in offense that year and 5th in defense along with having the number two toughest schedule in the NFL and if they would have done this and if they would have done that or maybe if they would make it to the championship they could actually HAVE a ring.

The point of the conversation is that you said that Moss had never been on a team that had the potential to go to a Superbowl... But he has. So yeah...

I didn't say that and I said that the team we are arguing about was THE ONLY TEAM
