That Flair is pretty all right. The Sting is very nice also. (My most wanted from the set) There are still at least ten different Surfer gear combos I'd have preferred, but it's not bad for a brown hair-transition Sting. |

Ugh... and the very suggestion of basics having elite articulation, makes me want to punch a wall. Sounds like you should collect statuettes instead of action figures.....! WCW Galoobs or Unmatched Fury in particular 😂 But seriously, I understand where you’re coming from. I think those Storm Collectibles figures look ridiculous with all those articulation points. Basics just don’t suit my needs, although I happily buy basics for my display collection, my play and pose collection needs to be able to be as flexible as possible. As you’re a MOC guy, I see your needs are very different from mine and I think it’s often forgotten that we all collect for our own different, personal reasons and that’s the problem Mattel faces when trying to please everybody. |

You saw the white and gold Clash Sting that's in the Fan Central 2-pack with Taker, didn't you? I wish that would have turned up at my TRU when they were still getting trucks in. |

I prefer elites when playing, there's more articulation in the figures and easier to do moves, the basics are just too limiting

To get Dillon I'll have to suck it up and buy 4 bland and ugly figures. I might just eBay a complete one.  That Flair is pretty all right. Okay, that is fair, but I swear to God he better not lean like Foley since the ankles are gone now. |

Basics are terrible for the most part. I bought rhyno and Shane McMahon from one of the latest series and they are decent enough figures and the rhyno basic is much better than that shocking elite they released (don't get me started)
Elites are by far the better looking figures but they are nowhere near perfect as well. Insane part choices and horrendous headscans bring the figures down a peg or two.

I told myself I would stop buying basics and wait for elites, but went ahead and bought Gargano and Ciampa. My Targets suck at getting new figures and the hopes of them getting the Hall of Champions Series 2 with the elite versions of these guys is slim to none. Still have 6 Titos and 1 Jimmy Hart. Now with the new legs I am definitely staying away.

As did I around the same time, but his figure’s face paint came out much cleaner than mine. I also turned the Starrcade ‘90 neon green into an elite. But I want authentic elites replacing my customs. |
