Not surprising. Gamestop rips people[mostly kids] off. Their prices are insane. I can buy a brand new game for $60 then the next day get $10 in trade for it.Then they will price that used game at $54.99. Seems fair. Lol. I really want that Honkey Tonk man hopefully it still sees the light of day. I don't think you know how buisness works. I work at GameStop, and a brand new game that you bought yesterday usually trades in for 35 dollars. They then sell it back for 55 to make a $20 profit. Why would any respectable buisness take the game in for what they sell it for? They would then make no profit. It's not "ripping people off" as you seem to think, it's making smart buisness decisions. No one's making you trade in your game. Game stop be like: so you have a one of a kind, working prototype, ps5 with 13 pre loaded games? Hmmmmm...That's gonna be a tough sell since there are no 9 year olds to play online with yet. I'll give you $37 cash or $51 store credit. Seriously though, I get it. But that's why I only buy there, never trade in. I don't even mind the low dollar amount for trade ins. I'm just not gonna take a little and let someone else make a lot. |

On one hand I hate hearing about all these shops closing and jobs being lost.
On the other hand I just ordered an air freshener for my car on Amazon as I don't want to go the shop.
Im conflicted.

Definitely too early to say much at the moment. But at $30 a pop, these are dead in the water anyway. I'll pay that for HTM since it's near DM-level, but not the others. This. I agree with you on HTM, but the other figures do not justify that price. Hopefully gamestop can adjust their model and get going back in a good direction. I have some good memories from midnight releases and such over the years, but I'll admit that digital downloads are making me go there much less. |

The only one I wanted was Honky and I wasn't really interested in paying 25-30 for a exclusive of a multiple repeat guy anyway with few accessories.

I got my Macho, was planning on skipping Shawn Michaels. Hopefully they at least make it until HonkyTonk comes out. That fig looked awesome. The RetroFest packaging is so awesome.

You strictly like new slayer, don’t ya? Actually Seasons In The Abyss is my favorite album. (Seasons even though it is kind of slow for Slayer is my favorite song, actually paid $150 a few years back for the Bloodpack Seasons single for the alternate version of the song which had a flute in the intro and different solos), followed by Hell Awaits, followed by South of Heaven, followed by believe it or not Divine Intervention (being that that was the first Slayer album (TAPE...back in 1994...)that I bought. Meaning Reign BARELY cracks my top 5 Slayer albums. Also have seen Slayer a grand total of 25 times (the last two shows were last Thursday and Saturday, which will sadly in all likelihood be the last Slayer shows I've seen live. My first one was in 1994 when I was 13). Also have over 50 Slayer shirts from over the years and met the boys a few times through the years (back when they had record stores was the first time, back then they had Paul Bostaph instead of Dave, also met Jeff several times away from Slayer when he did clinics at one of the music stores that used to be around here. REALLY chill dude. Gary Holt is also awesome, I met him back when he played with Exodus on his bus and had a beer with him, Exodus being another of my favorite bands...) Met them (Slayer) backstage too because of a journalist/radio friend of mine. Traveled to numerous cities to see them. So, nah, I don't strictly like new Slayer haha. Hell awaits and south of heaven are definitely top 10 albums of all time for me. Jealous of the shirt collection. My fondest memory of them is meeting Tom and Kerry at a local mall the day before they were playing the area. They approached when I was talking to Adam of killswitch and were the absolute nicest guys. They all asked if I was going to the show, I told them that I couldn’t ($40 was a lot for a 15 year old in 2004) Kerry took my name and phone number down and told me to expect a call before the show. I didn’t have high hopes, but one of their merch guys called me while I was in school and told me I had a guest list +2 for the show that night. Coolest dudes and best band |

Sorry to everyone I triggered yesterday with my "rip off" comments. I really don't care for Gamestop and yesterday was a bad day for me. I shouldn't of said anything. However if I think knocking off just 5 bucks on a used game is a rip off then I am entitled to that opinion. Saying that I don't understand how business works was a bit to much but that's ok. One thing we can all agree on is that honkey tonk man looks awesome. Hopefully we will all have him one day.

Do you add anything to this board other than horrible snarky comments that BOMB like Hiroshima? Just wondering...for a friend... Cookie cutter kid, Cookie cutter. Just think it's creepy when guys have women as their signature. Kinda shows your limited experience in that arena. Anyhow you didn't address the rest of my statement and people like you who pull information out of thin air typically behave and post like you do. So that's my point.
