Usually bill does show stuff on saturday. Ringside exclusives etc. I wouldnt mind at least 1 more golden age gem.. An elite savage, a new ftil golden age guy like Haku or valentine. Haku and Valentine are like my biggest flashback wants, i hope they make them, if they don't show anything else im fine, but would be amazing to see them though |

I can shoot down any ideas of Haku being made currentky, as he is in NJPW with the OG Bullet Club. But, man do i want a 80’s King haku, a 90’s Ming,and a 2000’s return poof hair Haku. Didnt he just get a Topps card though. Is it possible he could have a merch deal and be allowed to do njpw stuff |

Hilarious to see everyone jumping on the Bill bandwagon when he only came on the forum to scold people about trying to seek out information about upcoming figures. If Mattel were putting out this information (at least some hints or teasers about upcoming releases) then people would not be scouring the web to find any tidbit of info they could. Also, how do people even know that it was Bill who made the posts?! The Account name is 'MattelDesignTeam' NOT 'Bill Miekina'- the posts could very easily have been made by a member of his team.
As for the thefts, it looks like Mattel needs to upgrade their security at these factories- if people are stealing product so readily then it appears their security is seriously lacking. Also, if the guy on Instagram is posting pics of stolen product then why doesn't Mattel shut him down?!

I know a lot people like Elias. But the fact that the last EG slot is being wasted on him is a travesty. Does he even have an entrance? He is always just on a damn stool in the middle of the ring. Awful.

Awful. That's kind of the point of it... It's unique, so it's part of this line. And him being the last EG slot, won't prevent any other from wrestler getting an elite figure. |

His son works for this promotion so he may simply be making appearances to help out his son as part of some storyline.

I gotta be honest, I think most people would tell you he looks exactly the same in the face as 20 years ago albeit the grey in the beard. I feel like you are complaining for the sake of complaining. I just think considering there's guys getting unique moulds in the regular elite line then is it too much to ask for a new head sculpt or some unique tooling on a figure that will be £32.99 here ($45) it only comes with a belt and the music stand. Yeah, given that it is a premium-line figure, it would have been nice to at least have a new screaming scan or something (rather than a straight-up repaint). Still, I'm just pleased we're finally getting a WCW Goldberg, so won't complain... too much.  |

I’m assuming that’s all we’re gonna see for this years SDCC (you know what happens when you assume ladies and gentlemen). My two favorites are King Mabel and RetroFest Hacksaw. dvontu I thought there were supposed to be a few more releases announced on the second day but they showed nothing?! I was waiting for them to show the Harley Race, Jake Roberts '96 & Stone Cold '96 figures they showed recently and confirm that they are indeed part of the WM flashback line and also reveal who the fourth figure is?! I suspect that this line is going to be line the TNF line, meaning only 2 releases per year. If true, then that is probably why the didn't show the figures mentioned above because they probably won't be coming out until early 2019, so they are saving the reveal until the fall at Ringside Fest. I was really hoping to get confirmation about the rumoured Steamboat elite, that sucks! |

There are questionable wrestlers like the goon who just got topps cards that made people question this , but he could have gotten a legends deal due to working behind the scenes, family in the business or a deal to prevent a lawsuit or something similiar. Its not concrete evidence but it looks like topps is making their legends cards based on who has a deal. |

I'm involved in the card industry, and had a dealer friend ask a Topps rep at a recent trade conference. The answer I was given is that on their non-sport products (WWE, Star Wars, movies, tv, etc) they don't sign individual contracts and only use subjects that are covered under their licensing agreement with the licensee. They may have additional contracts that cover autographs (the people get paid a set rate of $X per card they sign), but those subjects would already be covered under the licensing agreement. So I'm 99% sure anyone who appeared in recent card sets would be signed to some sort of merch deal. |

Just chiming in to get us closer to 200 pages. Fingers crossed for Hercules. Hercules would be a dream release but unfortunately I don't see it happening. It looks like there may have been some bad blood between WWE and Hercules- anyone know if he left WWE on bad terms?! He is not even listed on the WWE Alumni page, he was a solid mid-carder back in the day and fairly popular with fans so why isn't he listed?! It appears the Alumni section on the WWE website is restricted to people that are on good terms with McMahon/WWE and not an actual account of everyone who ever worked for the company. |
