I know a lot people like Elias. But the fact that the last EG slot is being wasted on him is a travesty. Does he even have an entrance? He is always just on a damn stool in the middle of the ring. Awful. I agree its a waste of EG spot, but heres hoping he will be packaged sitting on the stool with guitar in hand. Tho im wondering if he would actually have his entrance music with the stand since we rarely hear it. |

Last year they showed off the Hardyz Epic Moments the Saturday following the initial SDCC reveals. So who knows, we might get a lil' something extra in the coming hours.

Just chiming in to get us closer to 200 pages. Fingers crossed for Hercules. Hercules would be a dream release but unfortunately I don't see it happening. It looks like there may have been some bad blood between WWE and Hercules- anyone know if he left WWE on bad terms?! He is not even listed on the WWE Alumni page, he was a solid mid-carder back in the day and fairly popular with fans so why isn't he listed?! It appears the Alumni section on the WWE website is restricted to people that are on good terms with McMahon/WWE and not an actual account of everyone who ever worked for the company. 2 things According to bret harts book i believe. Vince was drinking with the boys in a hotel room and wanted them to do their finishing moves on him, everyone took it easy on the boss except hercules who dropped him on the floor. Also his last match against Sid, he no sold the powerbomb and left |

It's one of those old arena shows they later dubbed over with commentary. The show is headlined by a Hogan/Flair match. |

I gotta be honest, I think most people would tell you he looks exactly the same in the face as 20 years ago albeit the grey in the beard. I feel like you are complaining for the sake of complaining. I just think considering there's guys getting unique moulds in the regular elite line then is it too much to ask for a new head sculpt or some unique tooling on a figure that will be £32.99 here ($45) it only comes with a belt and the music stand. I agree they could have made a new head scan for the price they are charging I mean its goldberg if your going to do it do it right .it was one of the most wanted figures |

He could but it doesnt seem that way. Most of the people who recently got topps cards seem to have 1 way or anothet have legends deals. Rooster just got a topps card too and also a figure. There are questionable wrestlers like the goon who just got topps cards that made people question this , but he could have gotten a legends deal due to working behind the scenes, family in the business or a deal to prevent a lawsuit or something similiar. Its not concrete evidence but it looks like topps is making their legends cards based on who has a deal. I'm involved in the card industry, and had a dealer friend ask a Topps rep at a recent trade conference. The answer I was given is that on their non-sport products (WWE, Star Wars, movies, tv, etc) they don't sign individual contracts and only use subjects that are covered under their licensing agreement with the licensee. They may have additional contracts that cover autographs (the people get paid a set rate of $X per card they sign), but those subjects would already be covered under the licensing agreement. So I'm 99% sure anyone who appeared in recent card sets would be signed to some sort of merch deal. Thanks for chiming in STC13, this is what I have speculated all along. I doubt that Topps would sign individual deals for trading cards- at least not for wrestling cards. This explains why no cards have been released for some of the legends that are part of the lawsuit such as Demolition, The Rockers & Bundy, even though Mattel has made figures of them which means these guys most likely signed a deal directly with Mattel. Interestingly, Topps has released cards of the following guys who are also part of the lawsuit- Kamala, Mr. Wonderful, Jimmy Snuka & The Road Warriors- which means they joined the lawsuit later and were signed to a legends deal early on as Mattel has also made figures of all of these guys as well. Another interesting thing I noticed is that Topps released cards of Berzerker & Warlord last year, whom are supposedly part of the lawsuit yet Mattel released figures of them last year as well?! Topps is releasing another all-legends set this year, if Haku is part of that set then that would pretty much confirm that he has signed some sort of merch deal. |

All around just a very "meh" SDCC for me. Not just from Mattel/WWE standpoint but also other brands. Mattel didnt show me anything I didnt expect/already know about except Pat Patterson. Mattel Multiverse has some Aquaman & TDK Joker figures but everything else is trending more towards the "comic" side. I didnt see anything from Funko I really wanted. Even the exclusives were very bland. Guess its a good time to save some money.

ENTRANCE greats. No entrance. Missing the mark. What the  even is his theme song, since THAT is the actual point of the line? Is it just gonna be a recording of jojo announcing him? It's stupid. They have said all the eg figures could have just been elite...But this...it literally is a marked up elite, AFTER the regular elite hits. Crazy, dumb, and bad timing. |
