So is the Patterson likely to be from the Stooges era or his wrestling days? Looks like both. The head on the body looks like younger wrestler Patterson and the extra head and riot gear look like older Patterson, might be a 2 in 1 figure like the Andre the Giants. |

Amazing show so far - hope we see a few more flashbacks today. Would like to see another Bulldog maybe? 2 elites seems like a small number for Davey.  Agreed, would like to see a Bulldog from his heel days in 95/96 with shorter hair and in long tights.     Or from when he returned to the WWF in 1994, with unbraided hair and a larger torso and arms   Would like a British Bulldogs version but without Dynamite Kid that seems pointless. Also, wouldn't mind an Allied Powers version. |

I wish someone could just confirm if everything has been shown. We didn't see much Friday morning.
If nothing is shown, I will be surprised that we still don't know who the fourth person is for Walmart wave 3.

Too bad the EG line ended again after just one year. There’s so many more I would have loved to have gotten. Surfer Sting - “A Man Called Sting”. WCW Crow Sting - either “Distroyer” or the instrumental used for his 2K14(?) Game debut. Hollywood Hogan - “Vudoo Child” or “NWO” theme. Ricky Steamboat - “Sirius” Stone Cold - Triple H - “My Time” and “The Game” Just to name a few. Macho Man/King, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels (either him or Sherri singing his entrance theme), Ultimate Warrior (most iconic wrestling theme I can think of, along with Austins') - would have been a great way to get the WM12 Attire with Duster and giant light up Warrior symbol from the event. To name a few more. |

All around just a very "meh" SDCC for me. Not just from Mattel/WWE standpoint but also other brands. Mattel didnt show me anything I didnt expect/already know about except Pat Patterson. Mattel Multiverse has some Aquaman & TDK Joker figures but everything else is trending more towards the "comic" side. I didnt see anything from Funko I really wanted. Even the exclusives were very bland. Guess its a good time to save some money. Yeah... it was an ok showing, but I wouldn't say it was one of their better years (NOTHING will ever top that year we had Hogan, Razor, Sting, JYD, X-pac, Earthquake etc.  ). |

Any of the flashback collectors feel a little underwhelmed? I'm talking about first-time-in-the-line people ... we got Dude Love (favorite), King Mabel (2nd favorite), Backlund (pretty cool), Sherri (ehh, ok) and Pat Patterson (not a figure I'm into at all). Like some have said -- still none from the handful of flashback wrestlers we've been wanting and waiting on for years. No, I only collect flashback/legends so I'm pretty happy with what's coming out in the future. A better elite Sting, Ultimate Warrior, Harley Race, 1996 Jake and Austin, Suited Flair, Bob Backlund, King Mabel, Sherri (hope we get the Macho King from WM 6 as well), New Age Outlaws, Paul Bearer (I missed out on the build-a-figure), Retro Kurt Angle, Iron Sheik, Goldust (hopefully 95/96 version), and DIESEL! 1998 Goldberg, 1993 Hacksaw, Pat Patterson, NWA Dusty (for those who didn't buy the one that came with the WCW ring), Macho Man in green lightning tights (basic, but still), and Dude Love. Overall, I think they did a great job as far as flashback collectors are concerned. |

Yeah, no. It's lame. ENTRANCE greats. No entrance. Missing the mark. What the  even is his theme song, since THAT is the actual point of the line? Is it just gonna be a recording of jojo announcing him? It's stupid. They have said all the eg figures could have just been elite...But this...it literally is a marked up elite, AFTER the regular elite hits. Crazy, dumb, and bad timing. No, the only thing "stupid" is your behaviour. Elias has a theme song. It's not Mattel's fault that you're too lazy for a simple google search or to follow him since his time in NXT or watch the RAW episodes where he had an actual entrance. The numerous likes my comment got says im not the only that thinks so. What if I told you, you could disagree with me AND go about your day without trying to start a back and forth?. Mind blown? I thought the whole point of Entrance Greats was to release wrestlers who's entrances and entrance music was instantly recognizable?
If they are scrapping EG, then why not release Goldberg & Elias in a different line?
We ending up having to pay more for a sound stand with crappy quality and a laughably oversized box.

I kinda seen it coming with the EG’s. Plus Bill said DM’s we’re taking a break when the EG’s were announced. So maybe they’ll alternate every year or so.

True, I'm surprised that they aren't that happy, but I went back and re-read the guys post that I quoted and I think he was talking more about new figures that we never made before. Though, it seems that Mattel doesn't have control over who they can make. I would love a Hercules, Hammer, Dynamite Kid, Barbarian, Powers of Pain, British Bulldogs, Owen Hart, Marty Jannetty, among others, but Mattel can't make those until WWE allows them to. |
