With interchangeable heads now being introduced it got me thinking that it would be good opportunity for them to make interchangeable heads based on pre and post match looks for certain guys like how Dolph Zigglers hair is slicked back at the beginning of a match and at the end it's all over the place. I think it would be a nice touch tbh. They could also possibly do different looks for a character they wouldn't normally do multiple releases for. For example, they could do flock Kidman head and cloth flock shirt and post flock Kidman head with molded tank top all in one release (and since it might not be suitable for a main line release, they could make it a limited exclusive). |

I'm actually still pretty pumped. I wasn't expecting Patterson and I wanted confirmation on some of the more out there order sheet names (Mabel, Sherri, etc.) I'm just curious what lines most of them will be in. King Duggan we know is Retrofest, and Dusty was in one of the upcoming Elite series order sheets, but the rest are up in the air. Really just knowing Dude Love was on the way made SDCC for me. That and the NECA Michael Myers Don't get me wrong. It's better than nothing, lol. There are some great, what I would call, upgrades to existing figures. The Goldberg is great, maybe my favorite of those. But I am not interested in more Undertakers, already have Paul Bearer, etc. The Hall of Champions wave 3 is super disappointing. DX? Nah, man, no thanks. I never liked that faction and I don't really buy figures from that era. I don't mind NAO in HOC 3 honestly, since Road Dogg is an improvement over his last Elite. My only wish is if he had the Road Dogg shirt instead of the generic DX logo but I'll take it. Gunn is a maybe since I like his old Elite but I might pick him up. Bearer I like the head on more than the old one, really the only skip for me is Warrior since I'm holding out for a OWN or 1996 Warrior. I'll agree that Goldberg is pretty phenomenal, I just wish he came with some pyro effect pieces |

I am overall pleased with what has been shown so far but don't think everything has been great. My opinions so far on the legends/flashbacks we've seen: EG Goldberg: Glad we're finally getting a WCW Goldberg. Assumed it would be EG. His entrances were longer than most of his matches so its a good fit. Backlund: Stoked that we're finally gonna get him and complete the WWE champions from Golden Era through today. Hoping comes with more than just swappable hands. Sherri: Glad we're getting her but WM6 wrestling attire is the least attire I wanted. King Mable: Probably the figure I am most excited about. Patterson: Zero desire for this figure. Would love The Stooges but him without Brisco in wrestling attire is a big pass. Paul Bearer: Looks good enough. Not sure whats different from the BAF I already have but I am sure I can use anotherDude Love: Not a new reveal or would be placed first on my list. Glad there's finally a spot for him. Hoping it sticks. Sting: Looks really good. Like Warrior this wouldve been an opportunity to release him with the new WCW belt since he wasnt champion in this attire. I quoted everything I agree with. (Paul Bearer has a new head sculpt.) |

Yes, last year Mattel split the announcements- Comic Com mainly featured announcements related to the current product, while flashback figure announcement were made at Ringside Fest. This year however, it seems they just threw everything out there at Comic Con, both current guys and flashbacks. I suspect we will get some more announcements at Ringside Fest in the fall but that's another few months away.

If we aren't getting the figures before Ringside Fest, then I don't care to wait until then for their announcements. I personally see no need to know that a fig is coming (like HOC Ron Simmons) unless I can go ahead and buy it or preorder it. Let me know about it when I can buy it. But that's just me. |

Did we get confirmation that that's it? I expected some more reveals tomorrow since it's the biggest day in terms of media coverage. We still haven't seen anything on Fan Central or Flashbacks. Unless Bill said otherwise I don't think it's done yet. There will be more I bet. Not tons but some new stuff and some info on the new ultimate edition line will shares tomorrow. Flashbacks were shown. It’s sherri, taker, backlund, Mabel and Patterson. I’m wondering if Patterson is a baf maybe. I don't know about that, he comes with a few extra accessories that don't usually go with the build-a-figure. He has an extra head (older version), a riot helmet, and an extra set of hands. |

No new wcw belts  Yeah, hopefully something will be shown over the next two days. Really want their US title, I always liked that belt a lot better than the one the WWE uses. |

Even if we don't see anything else I really want info on this ultimate editions line. In my head, it's basically Defining Moments on steroids and I'm 100% good with that, but I just want to hear them say it. Agreed, would like to have more info on what the line is and what the figure(s) in the line will entail. In a video with Noelle Foley interviewing a Mattel Steve Ozer and Steve says that the Goldberg is going to be the second to last Entrance Great. Does that mean this year or are they scrapping the line and the Ultimate Edition Line is taking over. Definitely need more info. |
