I stop getting Jakks figures when the bone crunching series were over. Started making changes and I didn't like it. No lord of darkness Undertaker, the tattoos designs are a joke even years went by and haven't made it better. Every figure were the same height and overbuff. When Mattel took over and saw a Undertaker figure, God I was amazed of how the tattoos look almost accurate and glad they knew what they were doing. Jakks was only good for bone crunching that's all.

Mattel have done some great figures but I don't think they're as good as Jakks. Clothing and accessories are either crappy rubber or very poor quality cloth with bad stitching. Not sure how great quality control is, I have an Emma figure with creases in the face where the plastic clearly wasn't injected properly.

I thought about not collecting Mattels as I have hundreds of Jakks figures in my collection. Then I saw the first DM macho man and warrior figures.... and I jumped right on that Mattel bandwagon.

jakks just made wwe figures for so long and I think everyone was kinda hesitant but Mattel I feel makes better figures

I'm not sure whether it's a nostalgia thing or not, but I prefer the way a Jakks figure feels in my hands compared to a Mattel.

I swear Jakks head sculpts, clothing gear and roster is the greatest!
Mattel just has the better scale, sometimes they pull it off better too...
their QC issues are increasing though.
I was not a huge collector when Jakks was the official licensee, so I dunno if their quality dropped eventually

well mine and my ex girlfriends house burned down, so i lost all my jakks collection, EXCEPT THREE, so. i recently tried buying some matel guys to display, but its not the same, they dont look or feel the same, its just a slap in the face to my old collection,
