I thought they cheapened the show by having the house show production. Tonight was all about equality, and it's disappointing to STILL not get it. At least give the same production as a Raw or SD.

This show's only problem was having too many main event level matches, which is an awesome problem to have and they handled it really well. It felt like a series of super fights that each gave us something different, and a pair of great matches that added variety and showcased several great talents.
I don't have a damn problem with a single match. Any of the little things that we would normally nit-pick just aren't worth it. The women DELIVERED and it felt real and passionate and it was why I take this sport to spectacle so God damned seriously. Because I downright love it in the pit of my soul and will be damned to sit around and let people ruin it. The women of wrestling did a damn fine job tonight. One of the best overall cards of the year.

Are you referring to the crowd in the arena being darkened out the majority of the time, or are you talking about the event's stage setup? Personally, I'm really tired of the darkened out arenas during Raw, SD, and PPV's, and the unnecessarily oversized stage setups they've been using for years. These were rarely an issue during the Attitude Era, and Ruthless Aggression Era. Back then, you could actually see the entire crowd, and the stage setups didn't block out an entire quarter of an arena.

I watched the replay cause AAA Heroes Inmortales was on tonight. The show was much better than I expected. Ronda vs Nikki went longer than I wanted. I would have preferred similar to Lesnar vs Cena at Summerslam where Lesnar beat the hell out of Cena. I was expecting that in this match, but oh well. Personally, it's my least favorite Ronda PPV matches I've seen. I was surprised at a few matches. I wasn't expecting Shayna to regain the title, or Toni Storm winning the Mae Young Classic. MOTN was the Last Woman Standing match. Again, was shocked to see Becky retain, but I was glad it happened. I still see Charlotte regaining. Charlotte looks off without a title IMO. Only match I complained at who won was the battle royal. I was a little mad that Nia won. I wanted Ember Moon to win the battle royal. Ember Moon was over AF tonight. I liked the look of the show, where the crowd was darkened, and the focus was on the ring. I always liked that look for a wrestling show.

Everything was seemly history making, including the time keeper, the chair in row B, the guard rail etc.
That aside, it was an awesome PPV that I’m pretty sure blew most expectation’s away. The Last Woman Standing was obviously match of the night, despite Charlotte’s no selling.

The NXT and SmackDown Women’s title matches were great.

I enjoyed the show. Only complaint was the lighting. But overall a good show.

This might have been my favorite show of the year, TakeOvers notwithstanding. I was a little hung up on the Live Event production early on, but I got past it pretty quickly as it became apparent that none of that mattered. I'm a fan of the darkened crowd, because I'm not watching the shows to see them or their signs. I only wish that BLD and "We Want TV-14 & Pyro" guy were both a little further back so they could be blacked out as well.

The last woman standing match is a match of the year candidate.

I still can’t stop thinking about Scarlet Bordeaux’s outfit in that first match last night lol.

I actually liked the dimmed out lighting. Put the focus solely on the in ring action.

Only tuned in for Becky and Ronda's matches. Both were spectacular. I liked the arena setup as well. It had that smaller show appeal but it was big, if that makes any sense, lol.

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't like when they focus on other WWE Superstars in the crowd. If they're truly going to be at the show and being supportive of the event, have them in an area where the camera can always see them so we know it's real. To me, that's like when they appear at NXT shows and they're in the corner where there is never a seat at. They're clearly just there for a cameo, and then gone. It just seems fake and like they're trying to say, if the WWE Superstars are there, then you KNOW it's a great show. When in reality, it doesn't need that. Just let the show be great without any fake co-signings.

This show was start to finish one of the best of the year. I’m so glad I went in with such low expectations because those girls all busted their asses and made me feel like an idiot. Great ing work.

I thought it was amazing! Third best PPV of the year for me, after Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. The women definitely delivered and more, giving a big "FU" to creative and management, who obviously did not treat this show as it deserved to have been treated heading in. The women persevered, showing exactly why they deserved to have had good stories heading in.
First off, I loved the stage setup. The stages we've seen for SSD and now Evolution are exactly what WWE should do for every PPV. Instead of reusing the exact same stage design down to the same exact detail for the 50th time, they should just rearrange the basics of the design. They don't need to build big set pieces like they used to, but unique simplistic designs work better than what we usually get every month.
To start with, I felt that Trish/Lita VS Mickie/Alicia was a really good match to start off the show. It felt incredibly nostalgic in the best way possible. I'm glad they gave Alexa a promo before the match. I assumed that they wouldn't allow her to do anything physical in the match, so I was really glad to see her get physically involved. I was slightly hesitant on whether Trish or Lita would still be able to perform, and they showed that they absolutely can. Although it did detract slightly, not even Alicia's badly mistimed pinfall break-up at the end wasn't enough to ruin this match.
The battle royal was much better than expected. Although I'm disappointed that they didn't add in some surprise entrants, I feel that the women put on a pretty good match, which is really difficult and rare for a battle royal. There were some really good spots. Though I felt like the Carmella dance break spot felt really out of place. That stuff is good for Mixed Match Challenge and the occasional weekly show. But on a PPV? Nah. Although I feel that Ember needed this win more than Nia, I'm a big fan of Nia Jax, so I'm happy regardless. Plus, I think Nia stands a much better chance against Ronda Rousey than Ember. I just hope that they do eventually build Ember up to be a star.
Unfortunately, I think the MYC2018 Final was underwhelming. I expected a long, epic match. But it seemed to be over really quickly. While I think Toni and Io did the best they could with the time they were given, and to be fair I think this was still a solid match, I think they should have had a bit more time allotted to them. I was really shocked that Toni Storm won it. I fully expected that Io Shirai would win the MYC, and Toni Storm would lose, but go onto win the NXT UK Women's Championship. Bit confused as to why they didn't book it that way, but then again that's not my job.
Sasha Banks/Bayley/Natalya VS The Riott Squad was excellent! I knew this would end up amazing due to the amazing talents in this match, but I wasn't expecting how brutal it ended up being. I love both teams, and I'm glad that Sasha/Bayley got the win, but I think the Riott Squad still came out looking phenomenal in this match. Although technically Sasha/Bayley/Natalya got the victory, and looked great doing it, I think the Riott Squad proved how good they can be in this match. I hope this leads to a Riott Squad push. This match stole the show in my opinion.
Shayna Baszler VS Kairi Sane was honestly a match I was dreading beforehand, because it was obvious what was going to happen, and it did. Unfortunately Shayna's MMA friends got involved and cost Kairi the match. However with my emotional disappointment aside, this was actually a good match, and Kairi still looked great and super resilient. And given that Shayna is a heel and it's her job to get the audience to hate her, she's definitely doing her job right in that regard, even if it's mostly because I find her MMA style super boring.
As if they actually took a couple of minutes to promote Crown Jewel! They couldn't let the women and fans of women's wrestling have their moment?! "Having fun watching the historic first ever all women's WWE PPV? Well let us waste time telling you about yet another all men's PPV in which women are banned!". Disgusting choice by management, really. At least men were still involved with Evolution, with Michael Cole on commentary and the commentary team thanking male staff for their support on numerous occasions.
Becky Lynch VS Charlotte Flair was a really good match. Although I'm a big fan of both women, I was worried that they'd have Charlotte win. There were a couple of moments throughout in which it looked to be the case, but thankfully it was not, and the champ stays champ. I think it was a really well crafted match, and the botched table spot lead to an awesome Swanton Bomb from Charlotte, so that worked out better in my opinion. In the end, Becky proved that she is here to stay, and both women proved why this was the real main event.
Nikki Bella VS Ronda Rousey went pretty much as expected. It was a solid match. It was really nice at the end to see all the women on the stage. And I loved that they put a highlights video package together at the end. We usually only see those once a year at WrestleMania, so it was really nice to see one put together for Evolution.
In conclusion, I absolutely loved this PPV. Mostly good booking decisions, and the women proved why women's wrestling deserves to be taken as seriously as men's wrestling. The only thing I found disappointing was that there were no surprise returns in the show. I feel that the most memorable PPVs are ones with shock returns. For example, the Hardy Boyz's return at WrestleMania 33 instantly made that one of my favourite WrestleManias. Although I knew the chances were incredibly low, I was still hoping for a shock AJ Lee return. Ah well, I can't hold that against them. Even so, it would have been nice to have had at least one shock return. But like I said, the women definitely delivered. Hopefully we have more all women's events to come.

The only thing I didn't care for was.... why was Nikki Cross on the Raw stage when Stephanie announced an all women PPV, yet they couldn't put Nikki Cross in the battle royal last night?? I honestly figured she would have been a surprise NXT entrant into that match.

I didn't watch it live... too much other good stuff on like Dr. Who, Walking Dead, WS game 5, and football. Caught a replay this morning. It was a good show, better than I expected. Becky and Charlotte stole the show imho. Ronda continues to improve. NXT Women's championship match was really good too. Shayna B is going to be a major heel on the main roster one day.
One complaint; why do they keep pushing Nia into the title picture while more talented wrestlers like Asuka and Ember Moon are left hanging with nothing to do?

You know the main reason she likely ever got signed in the first place.

Probably since Ronda and Nia have unfinished business from the match they had at MITB.
