for someone who doesn't care, you sure do talk about it a lot. What would you like me to talk about? This is the MLB thread, I posted about a newly set MLB record. I find it hilarious that even when I'm not talking about the Yankees, you guys still try and start shit.

you guys celebrating over a win against the white sox has me lol'ing right now. seriously, my brothers t-ball league could them up. And that's only because they somehow go from a 99-win team that won a World Series with one post-season loss to sucking fat cock and fighting the Royals for the rights to fourth place. Yeah well one 1/3 of your team should still be in Triple A, that's going to happen. If Kenny doesn't make some kind of superstar like deal over the off season, this team will be destined for the same fate in years to come.

I can see the White Sox doing something drastic this offseason like pushing hard after Andruw Jones. I can definitely see him winding up with the White Sox...I think he'll go to an AL team, personally.
But they still have a lot of problems that's going to take more than one offseason to fix. They're going to have to go hard after some of the top FA, though, or the fans are going to be pissed if the offseason comes and goes without them making any sort of splash. The biggest problem is that the White Sox need pitching, which was the biggest positive for them back in 2005. It'd be one thing if they only needed offensive help, but they have a lot of rebuilding to do.

That'd be alright I guess if he plays the way he really can. I would f'ing mark out if they signed Torii Hunter though. Build around him Dye, Konerko, and a healthy Thome, and Hunter could become a franchise saver. And yes, the Sox need to dump Contreras. He was one of the best in the league in '05. Him, Buehrle, Garland, and Garcia were practically un beatable back then. Now Garland is slipping, Buehrle isn't very consistent, Danks still has a long way to go, Contreras is worthless. Vasquez has turned into the ace of the staff as of late.

I don't know if Hunter would be a "franchise saver." He's already in his mid-30s...while I'm not discounting the player he is, I just don't know if you can really say that he's the guy to build a franchise around.

Yeah I know they have a hellava lot more work to do then just sign Hunter. I think they should do it, but there are still holes at SS, possibly 3B, definately in the bullpen, and now, maybe even the rotation. So yeah either way, Kenny has a whole lot of work set ahead of him this winter.

Well it was a whine, about something stupid, having to do with/about/or/kinda about a team involved with the New York World Giant Yankees.

So just because the post I made was about a player setting a record on a team who was playing the Yankees, yet mentioned absolutely nothing about them in my post, it has to do with the Yankees?
Whatever...you guys just pick the stupidest crapto argue about and I'm not going to start another one.

Brett Myers got into an altercation with a Philadelphia Inquirer reporter after blowing the lead and taking the loss in Saturday's game. When Myers was asked about the two home runs he said, he said they were really "just pop ups," and he dealt with the follow-up question harshly. "You're not even a beat reporter, you're a fill-in, you don't know anything about baseball," said Myers, who then called the reporter "intellectually- disabled." The Inquirer reporter asked if Myers could spell intellectually- disabled, and Myers stood up and had to be restrained by Pat Burrell. All things considered, Burrell probably overreacted. The reporter wasn't his wife, so it's doubtful things would have gotten physical.

That's why I said only if he's the andruw of old. if he shows up as the same this year, then he can stay the hell away.

Even the Andruw of old is overrated. He disappears in the clutch. He is getting older, and is out of shape, lazy, and has a shitty swing.

Troy Patton had a good start, the Rest of The Astros are playing atrocious baseball and deserving of last place.
Fire Phil Garner.
