Tofu would probably be good for my fast food gut, send her over, then you shall have your picture I was getting kind of a gut from college, but ever since I graduated I don't eat junk food anymore. I haven't had soda in like 3 months and I'll only eat desserts on the weekend so her and I can still go out and get ice cream or go to the movies or whatever. During the week I drink water, and eat pineapple, turkey sandwiches, chicken, rice and broccoli, and a salad.....that's it. Mixed in with some exercises I've lost 15 pounds in the last 2 weeks.

This isn't directed at Nick in particular, but I get sick and tired of everyone here complaining over the fact that this thread conists mostly of Red Sox/ Yankees discussion. Is it our fault that most people who post in this thread are Red Sox or Yankees fans? It's not even like we're preventing anyone from discussing other baseball issues or anything. I just don't know what some of you expect when the MLB thread has been the same for the last several years. I have no problem talking about other teams or baseball news, but it's not like I, or most people, are going to just strike up a conversation about the Devil Rays or something. I do agree, however, that there are several arguments that are just petty or stupid, and I'm aware I take part in a lot of them, too. I think it's mainly due to the fact that we just push each other's buttons with all the crap that goes on over the course of the season. But the fact remains that if you made a seperate Yankees/ Red Sox thread, the MLB thread would wind up having about 4 pages per month. Love it or hate it, it's what makes up over half of this thread. fuel, meet fire. fire, fuel.

I don't mean to criticize Nick here, as he's a friend both online and in real life, but I definitely agree to a certain extent. WF is a pretty worthless thing to get worked up over. The real irony in this is, he's such an easy-going guy whenever we go to a Cubs game or something. Well, except for when idiot ushers yell at us, but that's a legitimate reason to be angry.
I suggest a few others that hate the Yankees/Sox talk here do what I do: ignore it. I come in, post my two bits about what the Cubs did or didn't do, or which player is currently giving me a fat one in the drawers, and exit.

Why doesn't everyone in this thread just drink a nice tall glass of shut the up, and talk about baseball? Any team they like... doesn't make a lick of difference to me. I do understand nick's gripe here... a Yankee fan can't say his piece without Ralpho going "NAAA I DISAGREE THE RED SOX WILL WIN THE DIVISION" and the Red Sox fans can't say their piece without some bumbling moron like Lorenzo going "Nope, them Yankees are coming hard, watch out Red Sox, hyuk, hyuk, hyuk!!!!1111" Until boston has a 7 game lead again and he hangs himself with his vaccum cleaner cord in his basement. Enough of the bullshit. I hate to sound cliche, but opinions are like a$$holes(yes, $$, because some ad wizard censored that miraculous swear word to "bunghole"...) everyone has one, and just because someone doesn't agree with your stupid pinstriped cock, or red sock wearing dick, doesn't mean that their opinion is worthless. I'm sick of stating my opinions at times and having it followed up with something like "NAH CLAY BUCHOLZ IS A MUCH BETTER PROSPECT THAN PHIL HUGHES!!11111" Shut. The. . Up. Get out there and actually play a sport in which you actually have a ing impact on the games, not just watching, over analyzing, over criticizing, sucking players proverbial cocks and so on and so forth. When the Yankees win, I don't feel like I contributed anything. When they lose, I don't feel like I'm to blame. I actually have taken to mocking professional sports, because they just don't do it for me anymore. I'd much rather be competing at a ridiculously low level than watching some overpaid jagoff lollygag out there for millions of dollars. I couldn't stress this enough- I've been a Yankee fan since day one, through good times and bad. I've seen them win four world championships. If I never see them win another one, I will not give a flying . If they do win another, don't expect me to be posting with some pathetic "2008 WORLD CHAMPZ YANKEESSSS" Signature. I really couldn't care less. I think I've watched the completion of 5, maybe 6 baseball games all season long in their entirety. I just think for the most part, some people here get too involved, take things too seriously, and take things too personally. Relax, watch the ing games, and have fun... /end rant.

And thug, you don't even know what this place was like before the Yankees/Red Sox foolish **** came about. Hammer, Walls, tim, krush, Albert Pujols kid, myself, and a bunch more i don't even remember, in addition to some from the thread currently... all were here and talking sports constantly, and it was a good forum. And we've still got people who know what they're talking about and are fans of other teams, and even some fans of the Red Sox/Yankees who are smart when they want to be. but honestly, who would want to post here when there's a 3-way between you, ralpho and lorenzo for 4 pages every day? I get it, the majority of the forum is Yankees/Red Sox fans, but half of them are bandwagoners. Outside of Lorenzo, you and Ralpho, who all argue the most anyway, this thread is infested with random New Yorkers cheering for Boston (MD, t1) and other annoyances. I don't care about Yankees or Red Sox discussion, but this thread is annoying 90% of the time when you argue over stupid ****. The only reason I guess I come here is because the few people I do know and like still post in this thread and only this thread. If not for that, I'd post on the other baseball forum I frequent much more often. and agreed with walls, go play some real baseball and get off your reclining computer chair and stop arguing about **** like rudy guillen's transformation to middle relief.

I just think for the most part, some people here get too involved, take things too seriously, and take things too personally. Relax, watch the ing games, and have fun... /end rant. I agree with bose those statements. I really have only watched like..three..baseball games total this season. It just doesn't do it for me anymore. Previously I'd get all worked up for every game. Now the Red Sox are on the verge of blowing the division and quite frankly..I'm not really caring. Except for when a$$hole Yankee fans taunt me in the street, I don't really have any emotion for the game at all. I've realized that they're so incredibly overpaid, it's disgusting. My dad would always tell me, " Do they pay my bills? No. I'm not watching these guys toss a ball around." Which says something because he had no problem watching a wrestling match with me. I've already seen the Sox win one World Series in my lifetime. Honestly now that I've seen that, I could care less if they ever win another pennant. I'd rather have a team like the Cubs win it all, so guys like Nick & Droopy could experience what Red & White Sox fans have felt the last few seasons. I don't mean to criticize Nick here, as he's a friend both online and in real life, but I definitely agree to a certain extent. WF is a pretty worthless thing to get worked up over. I don't see why MD or I should get any heat for rooting for Boston despite living in New York. Who we cheer for and root against is our perogative. There are other reasons why we could be annoyances, but that shouldn't be one of them. I also don't see how I'm a bandwagoner when I've been a Sox fan for five years( before they won it all), AND I have never switched teams or rooted for another team before.. and finally..I don't see why you're getting snappy at Droopy. Not like he was putting you down or anything.

Most people play Football in the fall, Basketball or Hockey in the winter and then Lacrosse in the spring, because Baseball is for wieners.
So obviously, the Football/Lacrosse comparison is 100% wrong, but its cool Asia, you are an outlaw and being wrong is part of the outlaw game
