If you think Nolan Ryan is better than Roger Clemens, do me a favor and get your head checked. Clemens would have more strike outs if he wasn't such an old, fat fag g ot and he played full seasons every year. Instead, he's got maybe 4 or 5 seasons where he's started 23 games or less, including this one. And if he pitched until he was 47 like Ryan, he'd definitely surpass him. Throw in the fact that Ryan played during an era where starting 40 games wasn't uncommon, and my position stands. Ryan beat up Robin Ventura. Yawn. Big ing deal. Oh my God, grandpa gave it to that punk kid! Who cares. Stat-wise, success-wise, and championship-wise, Clemens rapes the ass hole straight off of Ryan. Nolan never won a Cy Young, never won an MVP, and won one less World Series. He threw a bunch of no-hitters, but no perfect games because he walked 100+ batters 11 ing times in his career. He walked 204 batters in one season. Imagine if he played in the NL West and had to face Bonds 19 times a year? He'd have a good 300 walks every season. Roger Clemens is clearly the better player and pitcher. He's also a bigger douche bag, and way greedier than Ryan ever was or possibly could have been. Look at it this way: Just because Marshall Faulk sucked Jesus' dick and is this beloved figure amongst his peers and fans, and OJ Simpson was convicted of murdering two people doesn't make Faulk better. I don't give a **** about their personal lives. What they do on the field is what matters to me.

Jermaine Dye is still an old OF on a terrible team, whos gonna be a DH in a year. He really told me. Tell me how Baltimore is next year Jermaine I guess you didn't get the "pot @ kettle" thing with you calling JD an old outfielder. And he still makes great plays out in RF, so I think there are a couple years left in him before DH time.

We are talking about old outfielders are we not? I never said anything about stats, so easy don't need to go pull out your stat sheet and "own" me. You're the one talking about Dye becoming a DH soon, and I'm just saying people with glass OF's shouldn't throw stones (in the becoming DH category).

............but Manny is a Hall of Famer, who has been playing like a Hall of Famer must of his career and no matter what Dye, he cant even hold Mannys jerk rag.
There is no comparison, say JD Drew or some crapbut Manny is still a better player than Dye.

Manny will not be a DH for the rest of his career because of Ortiz. Try again

Hes going to retire when his deal is up, or if he goes to LA or Cleveland again, there will be DH's.
You need to learn how to stop being a little girl, dont follow Iceman. Learn from a man like Lorenzo
