I'll probably just wait for mattel to release a basic Goldberg and then headswap onto a triple h elite with Austin boots. Simple and will cost about £15 to make instead of £32.99 lol

Looks good from the front but not so good from the side view.

The figure (which is a complete rip off) should be displayed in the box with the belt round his waist. Looks terrible on his arm.
Another fail.

I'll be buying it but I think Goldberg should have had his own unique mold (not Triple H body). The head isn't that great either.

I like the figure. As a moc collector I’ll just be poppin that dig out and attaching the belt to his waist. No biggie.
The back image is how I envisioned the figure being displayed.

Wished they would remove the WWE logo from the belt so it would be more true to life

I feel for the MOC collectors. Packing Goldberg with the belt over his shoulder was a strange choice!

I feel for the MOC collectors. Packing Goldberg with the belt over his shoulder was a strange choice! Same for Hall of Champions Series 2 Ron Simmons. I can't think of a time when I've ever thought over the shoulder looked better than around the waist on a MOC figure.

Why is this worth $30? Because of a stand that plays music? Otherwise it would be just a normal elite figure. And with the "old" repainted head, I think I might be content with my Jakks Goldberg until we get a different headscan

Would have looked badass if they had duplicated the spark effect on the inside of the box. You have keep brand identification up amongst the line, sure, but having that look MOC would have made the $25-$30 purchase worth it.

This is by far the worst pick for the line.

I want an elite wcw goldberg, I’m not desperate for it though. This one isn’t thrilling. I wish it had a different face expression. I’ll have to wait

It’s a disappointment imo. Mattel had a year to give us a good Goldberg. They used the raw ring as a cash grab and now this.. if you’re going to capitalize on the goldberg name at least give us what it’s worth. A new UNIQUE body mold, glossed boots and a new headscan. Not too hard to ask for. Part choices aside, the parts chosen work, but it’s just the lack of anything new that really just brings this figure down. I would of taken a new headscan over the belt and music stand. This is just a old man Goldberg headscan repainted to look younger. I’m only buying this because I want a WCW Goldberg. Hopefully, they have more FB Goldbergs planned...

I like the figure overall. Two nitpick, though. First, as someone who likes to buy two of some figures to keep one MOC, I wish the belt would have been put on his waist. Second, for the premium price tag I would have liked to see the WCW US Title included. Usually, I can make my peace with Mattel's decisions, but, this is a very plain figure for the price.

"The cast isn't being kept. After this Goldberg, you'll never see this Bill Goldberg body type again."-Mattel rep at Toy Fair last year. I guess they kept the cast and technically changed the shorts... Look, I'm glad we're getting a WCW Goldberg from Mattel, but after all this time of patiently waiting, they just repurposed the old man Goldberg head with elongated beard and used a stock Elite body for him. Does it work? Absolutely, it's fine. It's not bad. It's a totally serviceable depiction of Goldberg, but nothing beyond that. At $30, I expected more, but that's EG for ya. Frankly, I’m happy to see this stupid line die. I’m not one to be overly negative when it comes to Mattel, but the way Goldberg has been handled by them by day one is crap. It’s like they know he only has so many looks that they can/or are willing to make and they gotta grab every extra cent in doing so. First it was the ring, now this fairly simple figure is in the EG line. Now they did the EG thing with the first Angle, but since have given him a standard elite (that is light years better than the EG) as well as a handful of basics. Goldberg gets one figure with a $100 ring and a premium line release for a figure without any accessories and a title belt. I’ll most likely buy this Goldberg but I’m done after that. I don’t care what they do, I’ll pay $30 for the EG Goldberg and never another cent for any other Mattel Goldy.

As someone who went back and bought ted, piper and taker I was hoping it would return. I wanted it for the unique entrance attires we wouldn’t get otherwise. Sticking normal elites in the box that costs an arm and a leg to ship wasn’t what I wanted.

I think more people would buy the figure at this price if it also came with the WCW US title. And they should have posed him like this: Also agree with Hulkster2001, they need to stop putting the WWF logo on WCW belts. They purchased WCW & ECW, they should have the rights to the logos.
