How many collectors actually use the stands and backgrounds that the new elites come with? I personally think they look cool in setting up my display I'm just kinda bummed I bought 2 newer figures from ebay loose and didn't have the stands.

I don't have any use for them right now, but one thing i think would look cool is putting the Rob Schamberger backgrounds around an arena setup. Similar to the old posters/banners they used in FCW.

I use the stands themselves but I NEVER use the backgrounds for them.

If I’ve got it, if you cover shipping cost, you can have them.

The Mattel WWE stands get the job done, but I'd rather they give us 2 to 4 much more compact stands that do the same job but more elegantly, like these www.figurerealm.com/topic?topicid=10132I've never wanted to use the cardboard cutouts or display the figs in the limited configuration the Mattel stands allow.

My only complaint is the Mattel ones seem small. I have a few of the bigger guys like Cass and Rhyno that the legs and boots fit weird on them.

I use the stands without the cardboard backdrop, I think it looks better with the figures with the WWE logo grid in the background

I think it's a great idea they had to have the stands with the backdrop for collectors to display. I'd really love to see them create a 'collect and connect' type of audience backdrop with like a tier design. They gave us mats guardrails, ramps, stages commentators tables and even backstage and gorilla position type sets. It would be great to complete it with a crowd and save the people with the custom arena the trouble of printing them and building them. And it would be cool to double them as just display stand and backdrops for the figures.

See that's a cool practical idea and all, but clearly we were all screaming for some artist to paint the wrestlers as the backdrop because y'know our phones don't have a paint filter for photos. He might be a nice guy/famous artist, but Mattel threw away money here - I've yet to see someone's collection displaying the artwork per series.

I kick myself for getting rid of my jakks arena set up i could really use the crowd for my current setup.

Probably would have been more effective had they just went with the old stands and name tabs

Yeah, he really struck gold with the deal with WWE for his art. I do envy the guy a lot lol. I guess WWE maybe wanted Mattel to cross promote all of the art of his they sell and work it into the figure lines somehow. Whenever I dream up ideas for the figures though, my first mode of thinking is how to try and work in something we actually see on the shows or the whole world they live in and try to fit that into whatever crazy gimmick or concept they wanna push lol.

The original stands and name tags are a lot better than the “dioramas” we get now imo. The detail on the dioramas is amazing but I prefer the nametags

Don’t care for them in all honesty. I’m curious how it adds to the budget, I remember originally they had to be removed because they got too costly.
