What a snoozefest of a title reign that was.
Never doubt Vincent Kennedy McMahon.

Please let Bryan/Brock be a wrestling match and not a one sided suplex fest. This match will probably give us some Brock Lesnar vs Eddie Guerrero vibes.

Quick fact about tonight's SmackDown. This was the first time since Elimination Chamber 210 that the WWE Championship changed hands in St. Louis. Missouri.
Bonus Fact, Daniel Bryan capturing the WWE Championship in St. Louis is two days shy of the 20th anniversary of the 1998 Survivor Series which emanated in the same building.

I am beyond stunned that Bryan turned heel and won the WWE Title tonight.Never would have thought that either would happen just based on his injury history and how over he has been the last past decade or more as a babyface.Very interesting twist and I've thought for the past year or so that Styles has lost a step and his feuds and matches so far in 2018 baring his match with Bryan a few weeks back have been lackluster at best.So even being a huge Styles mark glad to see the title switch, but should have held off just a tad bit longer so he could have broken CM Punks record.
Really interesting now with Bryan & Brock as champions of both brands,I assume both walk into WM 35 as champion just wonder who will face them for the belts. As of today I would go with Brock/McIntrye and then Bryan/Rollins as the two world title matches and now with us getting Charlotte/Rousey early I would switch it up to Rousey/Lynch for Mania.

i mean...Bryan holds the title til Mania...AJ wins the rumble and they have a 5-star match of the year at WM35 for the WWE title...even if Bryan retains, im fine with it wasn’t that the plan with nakamura

makes you wonder now... was Bryan originally booked to win in Saudi Arabia.... I wouldn’t think so. Unless the plan was to keep him face. Bc hitting the low blow this time was out of frustration. He has no reason to be frustrated the first time around.

Somehow I think there’s more to this than we think. Somehow I think the house that AJ styles built is being sold and he’s moving to raw to help fill a void. Maybe team with Balor and win tag gold.

He has no reason to be frustrated the first time around. Plus this story makes more sense. He loses in SA by playing the baby face role, just like Miz said. A second opportunity presents itself, and Bryan, in a moment of desperation, low blows AJ. You could see it on his face that he was kind of shocked that he did it. Then he decided to take advantage of it, and now he’s champ.

I just don’t buy Bryan as a heel. They’re going to have to do a lot of work to convince me. It doesn’t matter because in less than a year he’ll be babyface and we’re going to forget about it. Atleast Bryan vs Brock should be fun.
