Got Sting and AOP pre-ordered. AOP are perfect! Sting is such a drastic improvement over the DM Sting. I just wish they had given him a smaller torso and arms. Dude looks great. He's a character I don't need, but it's so good I may reconsider. Roman looks good. Love the way that face looks with the new face printing. Braun is meh. |

The detail on the Sting attire along with the addition of WHC belt is further proof the GAB Sting was NOT worth the DM price tag.

Still making Surfer Sting too big
I’m honestly disappointed with Dude Love. There’s way too much red and yellow and not enough blue. Should’ve put him in a line where they could give him better deco. When I think of Dude Love I picture what his display card looks like not the actual figure.

This is a strong set with some minor flaws.
-I like Sting a lot more than I thought I did. The rainbow scorpion looks super retro, I love it! You can just tell what era that's from, haha. I like the head mold a lot, and there's a lot of detail in it. The fact that he comes with a title on top of the jacket is really cool, too. I almost didn't catch that he comes with the title looking at him carded...more on that later.
-Braun...why on Earth do they keep making his pants like that? The color is off and the camo colors look inaccurate, too. There's clearly a set formula for him and it needs to change. I also think it's time to give him that slimmer Big Show tanktop from Fan Central. I hope the next Elite Braun has his current black pants and a huge cello.
- SO GLAD to finally see studio shots of Dude Love on card. We're finally getting it! He could definitely use less yellow/red on the bandana/claw and more detail on the sides, but I'm overall very happy with it. Light blue on the shirt, dark blue on the pants - a subtle detail but it's one that easily identifies the '97 run from the '98 one, and they did good on it. Can't wait to finally complete the 3 Faces of Foley.
-Roman Reigns is a pretty good iteration of him. I'm not a big fan of his mega push, so I only have a Shield version, but this would be a good time for an upgrade. I dig the gold vest and especially the IC title that's only had a small handful of releases thus far. Also, I love what the face-printing does for beards.
-AOP...okay, the figures themselves look great! The entrance gear and cool plated kneepads really set them over the top. I love the silver detail in the masks, too. They look like big killer machines. The new NXT tag belts look fantastic and super detailed. The problem is you can't see the damn things due to the sticker! Why on Earth would they package them this way? Those stands go right into the recycling bin for a lot of us, the selling point are those nice new tag titles!

Soooooooooo pleased we're finally getting the Dude. He looks fantastic... can't wait to get my hands on him.  Sting looks great too... why on earth couldn't we have had that title-belt in his (more expensive) Defining Moments figure though!? Why do we keep getting the same Braun Strowman attire wtf I know, it's weird - he definitely had the black pants at TLC '17. Maybe there'll be *another* running change? |

One of the AOP with a painted on arm band as well...
All that new tooling for AOP in the regular elite line yet a 32.99 Goldberg can't even get a new headscan or new torso mould?...makes sense.
