I don't classify what I eat as breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I just eat when I'm hungry, no matter what the time is. If I'm driving very late at night and get around somewhere to eat and it's 5am, and I stop at a place that makes burgers at that time, I might have that and not what people would consider "breakfast."

If I have to work that day it's going to be Starbucks Darkroast Kcup coffee. One sugar, lots of cream. Accompanied by what ever pastry I last bought at costco. Bagel with cream cheese, Blueberry muffins, cookies, biscotti, something.
If I stay home that day it'll be a medium roast Starbucks coffee along with eggs and bacon and or ham.

Cereal is the worst thing to have for breakfast, it is actually better as a night time snack.
There is so much sugar in it, you will take your daily sugar dose (plus more) in just one bowl, it is not a good way to start your day off.
However there are people (like kids) whose bodies are so used to it that it actually makes them function well - in fact if you change it for a more substantial diet at first your body will reject it (and even make you feel sick) this is why it is so hard to change our habits. (it's kind of the same when people quit smoking although its better for your health your body will be shocked).
Sure cereal is great because it saves time and easy to make - but maybe the fact that you are not sleeping well, waking up later and not earlier and feeling so weak that 'you can't make breakfast' is due to the cereal diet in the first place.
USA has the worst regulations when it comes to food, so it would be harder to avoid these. Other countries diminish these options or educate you by printing the dietary nutrition facts and encourage a heathier life style.
Me personally, depending on my energy outputs i would have the following:
IF I WAKE UP EXTRA EARLY AND GO FOR A WALK OR EXCERCISE (OR AS A HANGOVER CURE): - a combination of one or more: bacon, eggs, hashbrown, sausage, mushrooms, spinach and bread (aka BIG BREAKFAST) - coffee
IF I WAKE UP NORMALLY AND HAVE A DAY OF ACTIVITY AHEAD: (one or two of the following) - fruit and yogurt - smoothies or juices - nuts and seeds - peanut butter on toast - green tea
LAZY DAYS OFF OR WEEKENDS: - just coffee or juice - pretty much skip it and make up for it with a big lunch
However that is just me, bear in mind i also have digestion problems, but these are only triggered when eating processed and manufactured goods.
Each to their own.
IBS sucks!!! and makes it very hard to enjoy a diverse social life (or to travel) but there is always a CLEAN AND HEALTHY option - they just don't look as fancy or come in 'cool boxes'

I consider my food schedule more of a brunch and then a dinner w a small snack session in the middle. My “breakfast” is usually between 10-11 something.
Usually a bowl of oatmeal w either an egg white omelette w onions and spinach or sometimes instead of egg whites some slices of extra well done bacon instead. Usually 2-3 cups of black coffee too. One of the highlights of my day

This morning it was a cold double cheeseburger and BBQ chicken BLC, the cornerstones of any nutritious breakfast.

Usually nothing, but if I do, it's either a banana, yogurt, or raw oatmeal. I can't eat lot in the morning.

Luckily for you the long gestating theory that eating 6 bananas will kill you was proven false.

I can't tolerate breakfast, so I'll eat a light meal like yogurt, a piece of fruit, or a protein shake.
