I grew up loving the old Hasbro’s and still have all the ones I had as a kid. The Mattel retro series helped respark my love for these awesome figures. Unfortunately I missed the first wave, and only managed to get a few of the 2nd wave when Walmart clearances them out. Now I decided to take my first stab at doing some customs to fill in some of the characters I wish I had.
So far I’ve done Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, RVD, Daniel Bryan, Bret Hart, Samoa Joe, James Ellsworth and just started Eddie Guerrero.
Between kijiji and my old Jakks collection I’ve been able to find most of the heads that work. I haven’t dabbled much in sculpting but I hope to come up with something creative to make a decent looking Adam Cole.

Since you're using imgur, upload all the images together so they're in the same "gallery". (You can just drag and drop them onto the same browser window). Then just post the link to the gallery. That way you don't have to post each link individually. Or add ![]() tags to those links you posted so they become images here.

Thanks. I’m pretty happy with the way Samoa Joe turned out. Well worth sacrificing a beat up old Hacksaw Jim Duggan Hasbro.

Here are a few more updated pics. I added some yes movement decals on Daniel Bryan’s boots  My Chris Benoit attempt (I’ve got to try sanding down the clay I used for his neck and am deciding what to do to make his color pop a little more)  And finally I’ve started on my version of classic Kane since I missed that one in wave 2 of the retro series  |

It’s been a little while since I worked on some of my custom hasbros and Mattel Retro’s. We moved back in October so it’s taken some time to get all my stuff together and find the time to work on my latest batch. So without further ado... Ladies and Gentlemen Elias...  I even found an old Jakks Double J guitar for him which I find appropriate after that bizarre post- Royal Rumble mini feud they had  I’m also going to try to doctor up the shirt that came with the figure I got the head from to add that extra accessory to it  |

It’s been a busy few weeks around here. What little free time I have has been a balancing act between the Stanley Cup playoffs, Kingdom Hearts and catching up on some of my custom figures. I got off on a big tangent working on my latest one so here it is: Goldust   It was a real blast working on this one, gold paint takes some time and patience to layer on without it looking really crappy I’m hoping to get a few more done pretty soon and possibly finish some of the unfinished ones that got forgotten along the way |

I almost forgot. I got the shirt that came with the Elias figure trimmed down to fit the Mattel Retro. I think It fits kind of funny and I might have to cut out the collar a little more  |

Thanks to some unforeseen extra cash and a kick ass sale at Toys R Us I was finally able to do the custom Adam Cole that I’ve wanted to do since I started doing these. The original one I was working on I used a Neville head but it just never looked quite right. I got the image to post properly now which is awesome  |
