You mentioned Mattel’s retro line being on “life support”. Are they really selling that poorly? Yeah, I was surprised by this - I wonder if they have inside information or are just presuming (due to the poor distribution/not being able to find the figures)? I mean, we've already seen the next 2 series - and Bill has said recently that they "have long term plans for the Retro line"... |

Jakks were infamous for cheaping out on a lot of their figures, ie: missing details or no details on the backs of the figures. Were there any figures or playsets that you were really excited about, only to be disappointed upon seeing the final product?

What do you prefer to display? mint figures purchased second hand or your scuffed up, played with condition figures you actually had and used as a kid? Do memories and nostalgia get sacrificed for condition/looks?

Hey guys, In your feds, did you come up with any new match types or stipulations that WWE ended up eventually doing? I used to have tag team and handicap matches for the World Title where the one who scored the pinfall became champion causing teammates to break up pins so they could get the pin. WWE did it a couple of years ago with Jericho and Owens and the US Title without them fighting to get the pin though.

Can someone doing the podcast explain the process of who gets an action figure and who doesnt? Who makes the decisions? Who has final yes or no say? Is it riggt that Mattel make figures of guys WWE say they can, and that Mattel cannot just go ahewd and make figures of whoever they want

Why did JAKKS kill off their R-3 line in favor of Ruthless Aggression? R-3 had more realistic bodies, plus that added hinged finger articulation. That always confused me. RA seemed like a step backwards.

Question for you guys.
1) what is a bigger let down for you guys. That we never got the orange card series or that we never got a Smash and Barbarian in the ljn line? For me its the LJN. Although im a bigger fan of Hasbros the missing ljns are the winner. Lines get cancelled all the tine but for a company that has made tag team sets in the past to put out only 1/2 of the team in separate waves is inexcusable

I got a question is it possible for mattel to release some more classic crusierweights since we have the wwe crusierweight belt but only rey mysterio and chavo guerrero to go with it.
like I know Billy Kidman is employed with wwe and so is Jamie noble ? also with the inclusion of the wcw world could we maybe get wcw crusierweight ?
and do you think we might see more new gen, attitude, golden era or ruthless aggression figures in 2019 ? still got a very bleak 2003-2008 shelf
