Any stories about Figures Inc? I loved receiving their catalogues in the mail when I was a kid and I remember ordering something like twenty Hasbros from them for my 12th birthday. When that gigantic box arrived, it was a good day.

I never saw the yellow cards, or nasty boys in stores. I bought them through figures inc in late 94' and it was a great day. And then the green cards a bit later too. |

Just listened to the first 3 shows, and really enjoying it. Probably finish 4 and 5 tonight.
What would you like to see them do with the retro line? More legends? More detail/accessories? Remove the app/stands, lower price back down? What do you think would really help it sell better? I really don't want to see it fail, but like you said in a show, it seems to be on life support right now.

I really don't want to see it fail, but like you said in a show, it seems to be on life support right now. A debate segment in general would be an interesting fixture - a topic like you suggest could be asked as “How should the Retro line progress from here?”, and the guys can give their thoughts, read-out some opinions/suggestions from Twitter, etc., and generally discuss the question. Then the following week there might be another topic about an aspect of the Elites, or instore exclusives, or whatever. Could be interesting. |
