Oh they are NHL Spec too. First thing I noticed from the 06 5k gloves was the size difference in the trapper. The blocker is great, no breaking in needed. The knee cradle is a huge improvement for me after using Itech 4.8s for the last few years.

37+1!!?? how tall are you!?
no i post at goalie equipment world.
how do you like your mask and what did you pay for it?
Ive been running with a Itech 1000 and its been fine for me.
I tryed out my new pads and gloves today. PHENOMENAL for 5 hole stoppage. They're NHL Spec too and I really didnt notice a diffrence, except for maybe the glove being a bit smaller.
side note, blocked a shot with my elbow, and it snuck by the pads...... square off the funny bone and I've got a nice welt on my elbow. Couldnt move it for a few minutes.

I'm 6'2.
I got my mask at Goalie Monkey, I believe the remaining Kohos are in the clearance section if they're be any left. It was about 200 bucks. So far, I love it.
Itech 1000? Thats a good ol' widowmaker.
Are you playing ice or roller? If ice, I'd look into a better mask. Pads should be fine, aswell as your gloves. What C/A are you sportin'?

Hockey Goalies are, by far, the craziest bunch of players in the world. in addition to some of the best. Kudos to you guys for stepping in front of a piece of frozen rubber that can travel at a minimum of 50-60 mph and can top out at 110 (some NHLers)...I'd never do that. And none of that is sarcasm
Nice looking gear guys. Kmis and Mikey, could you guys post closer pics of your helmets? I always like checking out the artwork some goalies/artists come up with.

Nothing too special. Just the paintjob that Koho pre-painted on the mask. I do love the "disgruntled polar bear" though.
