I voted Cena. Loved the black shorts. The scans were great on HBK and Lashley [looked them up lol] but the mailed in effort on the attire for Shawn, and DA legs were too lanky on Bob, that cost them the vote.

Cena gets my vote, I liked the black shorts/white & blue sneaker combo. I would’ve probably voted Kurt if he had his DA1 boots or a sneaker mold. That HBK scan is the best RA era HBK scan ever too IMO.

One big reason I liked the DA series was because of the new headscans that were on most of them. Honestly some of the best scans came from this line.
I voted for John Cena for two reason. One for the figure it self is awesome and two for the boom box. Sounds like my post in the first DA 1 thread lol.
My second place goes to Shawn Michaels the headscan on that figure is my favorite Jakks Shawn scan they made, third to Chris Beniot, fourth to Bobby, and 5th to Kurt Angle.

Looked up HBK to make sure it was the right one, went with him. I always loved that figure and wanted it so bad, every chance i had to get it on Ebay, someone else always outbid me so i never ended up getting it. Still brings back memories though.
That Benoit almost got the vote, one of my favourite figures i had back then but can't compare to the HBK.
Angle's also really good.

That Cena is really good. Crazy how detailed that boombox was - they were really trying to sell the action accessories early on.

THis is another solid series where there is not a bad figure in it. My vote goes to Shawn Michaels. I remember having a hell of a hard time tracking this figure down and then one day found him in Asda  I would love to track this HBK down today to have MOC. Second place would go to Bobby Lashey and then third would be Kurt Angle. This was a series that I actually ended up picking up all the figures for. |
