I can see Silva beating Rich again, but it won't be as easy this time. Plus I can see Sylvia getting a win here, I know Vera was at one stage seen as the future king of the division but he hasn't fought in about a year & Tim must know he needs a big win to get back in the mix.
Vera should look to drop down to LHW, he's a small Heavyweight but I think he's tear it up in that division.

Looking forward to seeing Silva, Vera, and Macdonald fight. It should be a good one. I just can't believe it's so far away, it's been less than a week since 76 and I'm already going through UFC withdrawal.

Screw you man... Sylvia's going to beat him. Unfortunately it will be via split decision.

I just really like Brandon Vera for some reason. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Sylvia beat him, though.

I hope that the people who don't like Tim Sylvia because he "doesn't fight to win, he fights to not lose," which doesn't make any sense because I don't think he wants a draw, realize that Forrest Griffin, Keith Jardine and Chris Leben all won their recent fights by utilizing the same game plan. Back off, let the opponent come forward and throw shots when they're there.

Plus he just looks like a big goofy douche bag.

Rich will win, I actually went to his training center up in Cincy a few days ago with my brother, I talked to Rich for a quick sec before him my brother started sparing, and I asked him what he was gonna do differently and he said "win" haha......Hes a pretty funny dude.

Silva hasnt had a fight go out of the first round in a long time, if ever (I cant remember). I see this one making it through the first round, but my money would still be on him.

God damn this card is so good.
I'm definately getting this one.
here are my picks
Middleweight Championship bout:Anderson Silva-As I have said before. Franklin is my favorite middleweight. But there is nobody in the UFC that is a middleweight who can stop Anderson Silva. His ground is good, his muay thai clinch is f***ing brutal (Silva vs. Franklin 1), and his striking is probably one of the best in the UFC right now. On top of all that I don't think we have even really scratched the surface of what Silva is capable of. He is a finisher. I like the guy for that. He is very exciting to watch. Franklin will do a lot better than he did the first time around but I see this ending late in the second or early in the third. I'm gonna guess TKO.
Heavyweight bout:Brandon Vera- How can you not like this guy? He fights with more heart than anything else. I see him sneaking in a submission in the 1st round. Tim Sylvia just is not at all entertaining in my eyes. His win with Andre Arlovski made me want to cry as Arlovski was a beast before Sylvia knocked him out, now Andre seems to be a lot more timid in his fights then he was before. But for a guy so big I just expect so much more power from Sylvia, and he doesn't have it. So I am going to go with Vera.
Light heavyweight bout:Stephan Bonnar- Such a good fighter. I wish he would train with a different camp though. He could be on par with Forrest Griffin. But his second fight with Griffin proved just how much Griffin has improved over Bonnar. But I definately see Bonnar winning. Decision.
Lightweight bout:Jorge Gurgel- He was my pick to win Ultimate Fighter. I don't know what happened though. Very entertaining guy to watch, plus he trains with Franklin so he gets my vote.
Middleweight bout: Yushin Okami vs. Jason MacDonald- Jesus Christ what a great match-up this is. I don't know who to pick. Jason MacDonald is a fantastic jui jitsu fighter, but Okami is pretty much good all-around. Both of their poorest performances came at the hands of Rich Franklin. But if I had to pick I would say all out war that will end in the third, submission from MacDonald.
Welterweight bout:Josh Burkman- So disappointing in his last fight. But I still like the guy. I think if he comes out full speed he will win with a big knockout.
