I haven't seen Jagr look like this since he left Pittsburgh.
Good game tonight but how many chances will Straka have.

Good game tonight but how many chances will Straka have. the team you saw this series was completely different than the team i've been watching all year. oh well, dump the dead weight, have Shanny retire, don't know if I want Avery back. Mara get rid of. I think Straka is done now. AH.

Is New York have mental problems on the power play.. I understand how good Pittsburgh is playing on the PK but there is no reason why NY can't throw shots on net and put them in. Having Shanahan stand in front of the net is stupid as well.
Jagr played like a king tonight. Fatty is quick

Wings won 4-3.
Definitely the best game of the series as far as Colorado is concerned, but as Sakic said in the post game, it was still a loss, and there is no excuse for that.
In my personal opinion, though, I think it's obvious injuries are getting the better of them. Forsberg missing games 1 and 2, Wolski being out for the season, and now Stastny missing game 3 really aren't working in our favor. Plus, Detroit is a very complete team.

yeah. Colorado were not at their best this play-off seasons. i was expecting more classic games like their old rivalry. but then again, not a lot of the same players from that rivalry are still playing. i miss Yzerman.. should be a very tense game 4.

I say bring Roy back. I'd love to see him meet Osgood at Center ice again.

update...
TheNew York Rangers said forward Sean Avery suffered a lacerated spleen in Tuesday night's Stanley Cup playoff game.
The team announcement came as the New York Daily News reported Avery had been taken to a Manhattan hospital in cardiac arrest, citing unnamed sources.
The Rangers said Avery was admitted to St. Vincent's Medical Center following a CT scan and is expected to make a full recovery, but he will not play again in the playoffs.

Penguins are going all the way. I just cannot see Montreal or Philly stopping them. And I hope they play the Red Wings in the 'Cup finals.
A someone said, how many times is Stratka going to miss wide open shots?

This round has been kinda terrible, and not only because the two teams I was pulling for(NYR, COL) are down 3-0... but because none of the series have been very good at all. The Rangers rolled over a died. The Avalanche rolled over and died after looking great vs Minnesota. The Sharks rolled over and died.
The NHL needs to draw more fans, and they usually get more attention during the playoffs. They aren't going to win anyone over by short, bland playoff series.
Habs/Bruins was great, Flyers/Caps was great, all of the first round western series were pretty good. I think the NHL needs one of these 0-3 teams to make a nice little run to make things interesting. 3 second round sweeps would be pretty lame.

I don't see anyone making a run.. I still think NHL is drawing more fans because of the young player on the Pens like Crosby. As well as Detroit being up there again

I hope both Dallas and Detroit win their next game. Just so both will be well rested to Round 3.

EDIT:Nevermind, read your post wrong, sorry. Anyway, to keep this from being a pointless post. Can't wait for game 4 tonight between the Flyers and Habs. Game 3 was great and Biron played excellent so I am hoping he can bring the momentum again tonight.

Yeah, one good conference semifinal is not what this floundering league needs... Heck, the league would have benefited from Rangers/Devils being a better series than it was. The fact that Colorado/Detroit has been a dud of a series is bad for the league.

FLYERS WIN AGAIN! Great game, once again got a little shaky and once again, Biron came up outstanding. And to think, the Flyers could have swept the series if it wasn't for a bad penalty on Mike Richards in game 1.
