Exactly. If the Flyers win their series, than that would mean that only other Atlantic division teams would eliminate each other. Even though he won't win, I really think that Malkin should some be getting more serious Hart consideration. Everyone keeps talking about Ovechkin carrying his team to the playoffs, but you have to remember that the Southeast division was arguably the worst division in the NHL. Malkin pretty much carried the Pens for 30 games while Sid was out in the toughest division and kept that lead.

Good point.. although AO's 67 some odd goals or whatever he had was impressive

I just thought I would point out that Malkin should be getting a little more consideration and credit. All the pundits have been making it sound like AO is the clear cut winner, no questions asked. Just throwing it out there.

Rangers save their asses, can they do it 3 more times? No...the Pens won't come out flat two games in a row. This one is over on Sunday.

Jagr is the best player on the ice right now hands down

There was something about the way Jagr said, "This isn't over. I have a funny feeling about this series", that just sounds like he wants to pull a Messier but not come right out and say it in fear of looking like a d-bag.
If the Avs could steal tonight's game, it would make the series, along with Dallas/SJ and Pit/NYR actually interesting. If the losing teams stole another win or so, it would actually be good. The fact that three series went 3-0 was just not fun playoff hockey to follow.

Congratulations for not getting swept and losing both games at home. Maybe Sean Avery will come out and beat Malkin around next game

you HAVE to admit that Malkin just committed a highly unclassy play at the end of that game.

Detroit vs Colorado is over and we advance. Beat the Avs 8-2. Mule with another hat trick, Zetterberg with a couple, etc. Lets hope Dallas ends it tomorrow. Dont want Detroit off for too long

I think the Rangers came out with one purpose. Win one for Avery. Good thing it is only going to be one. ;D

I'll laugh so damn hard if the Ranger come back and force it to Game 7, even harder if they defeat the Penguins in this series.
Pittsburgh fans are so cocky right now and think they are unstoppable. Fleury is a great goaltender, but really hasn't been tested in the first round and not too much in the first 3 games of this series. He was tested last night and the Rangers picked up the win.
Detoit showed once again last night why they are the most dominant team in the playoffs right now. Samuelsson, Franzen, Zetterberg, Holmstrom, Kronwall and Osgood put ona clinic last night. 8-2, with both of Colorado's goals being Powerplay goals. Franzen and Zetterberg made it look easy and in my opinion, this year's Stanley Cup Champions.
Flyers/Canadiens tomorrow night, game 5. Hopefully the Flyers can put away the Habs tomorrow and not put ourselves in the same position we did with the Capitals. Unfortunately, i'll be missing my first Flyers playoff game tomorrow night, since I now have to work (even though I requested off). But it's not the end of the world.
Western Conference Finals: Detroit Red Wings vs. Dallas Stars Eastern Conference Finals: Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Philadelphia Flyers Stanley Cup: Detroit Red Wings vs. Pittsburgh Penguins... sadly. 2007-2008 Stanley Cup Champions: Detroit Red Wings
