Ok the Majority of Pittsbrughs points come from those three. Detroit on the other hand has goals from Filpula, Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Franzen, Draper, McCarty, Hudler, Lidstrom, etc. usually most of the points on a high scoring team are going to come from two of the best players in the league.. You're missing the point where anyone on the team can put the puck into the net at anytime

Me and Dan have a deal. Not really important but still. If the Flyers win, Dan has to make a big *** sig and keep it as my sig until the start of Football season or something. ANd if Pittsburgh wins, I make the sig, and he has to keep it. Anyways...any news on the Dallas/SJ series? have not been paying much attention.

Hahaha, Dallas won the series, with one of the longest games in NHL history. It's Detroit vs Dallas now in the West, with Philly and Pittsburgh in the East.

We'd probably lose to Detroit.. just because of how awful Ryan Whitney and Sergei Gonchar are but that is beside the point

I dont know, I think a Detroit/Pittsburgh series would go to the wire with all the talent and offensive. Not trying to start nothing but defensively I think we got you beat

I know I more or less said the same thing, but you just pointed out two players... not your entire defense

To be honest, I would love a Dallas/Pittsburgh Stanley Cup. So much history between these two cities when it comes to sports. It would get dirty...in a hurry....

Paul Maurice is gone from the Leafs. Too bad the team wasn't as responsive on the ice, because I really liked Maurice. But I suppose it was necessary if they want to clean house from top to bottom.

I don't agree with him being fired. It wasn't his fault he had crap to work with, then again, with a new GM coming in, he'll want his own coach.

PHILADELPHIA (AP)—Flyers defenseman Kimmo Timonen will likely miss the Eastern Conference finals against the Pittsburgh Penguins because of a blood clot in his ankle. Philadelphia general manager Paul Holmgren said Timonen was hit with a shot in Game 4 against Montreal. The Flyers won that series in five games and will open the next series at Pittsburgh on Friday night. “We have to view this that he’s not a player for us in the series, and march on,” Holmgren said Thursday night. .......... .

It really sucks, but we have more penalty killers, and even though Kimmo is a very good addition to out PK, we can still be strong without him.
