I see Detroit taking this whole thing. They're a nasty team with some great players, don't get me wrong...I just can't get into them.

Kolzig had no reason to be on the Caps anymore. They found their new goalie, and I doubt Kolzig was gonna get to play again on their.
Flyers finally start the ECF tonight.

As much as I want Dallas to advance, but after last night's performance against the Red Wings. Red Wings are just dominating them right now.
I believe it'll be Detroit in the Stanley Cup finals, I wonder if it'll be Chris Chelios' last year?
As for the Flyers/Pens, NHL would love it if Pens advances to the Finals. Divin'sby and all.

i don't think it's Chelios' last year. i'm pretty sure he's gone on record for wanting to play at least one more year. and i don't think the Wings will have a problem with that.
some good plays last night. i thought it was very enjoyable. here's anticipating game 2!

Haha, Chris Chelios is the Ric Flair of the NHL. Both have accomplished alot and I can see Chelios playing until he beats Howes record. Chelios is still an amazing player for being a 46? year old guy. I hope he plays for more years. As for Kolzig. I would love to sign him here to Detroit. But two problems. Hasek might not retire next year. Even though he should and I dont want Kolzig backing Ozzie up. But if Kolzig is officially a backup and Hasek retires, why not pick him up. He's still a good goalie

Not gonna sugar coat it, we played bad tonight. We showed up in the first period, and that was it. It seemed like after the goal with 6 seconds left in the first, something turned off the passion this team had tonight. Marty was off tonight, which is to be expected as you can't play fantastic in every game. We just couldn't get anything rolling offensively. It was like every time we got the puck, we dumped and changed, dumped and changed, no offensive chances, no shots on goal, nothing, and this was mostly in the 2nd period tonight. Umberger and Richards showed up tonight, but I will admit, without Timmonen, our defense did take a hit. It's only game 1, and I'm not gonna give up all hope at this point in time, especially after the first two rounds, but whatever they did in the first 19:54 of the first period tonight, they need to do for the rest of the series, or they are done quickly. Also, I just wanted to point out, that the Penguins fans over on their message boards, are very cocky. I can understand rooting for your team, but they always think everything they do it awesome and that everything the other team does, whether it be a clean hit or something, is horrible. they are just so cocky and arrogant. I really don't see how Flyers fans are insulted after seeing the way Penguins fans act.

Pittsburgh beats Philly 4-2. Im Really glad that Pittsburgh ended up getting the powerplay after the final scrum, despite the fact that Malkin and whoever were double teaming a Philly player. Hopefully the Flyers cna get their crap together for Game 2.
Pysched for Detroit/Dallas Game 2. Hopefully we can continue to be dominate

Flyers need to get it back together for Game 2. We didn't play good at all. Malkin is pretty much a ing killer......And Marty paid for it and had an off game, which is very unusual. Defense was destroyed tonight, Timmonen being out was a factor. I'm not giving up yet. We just need to get it back together and see what we can do from there.

So Blake would welcome a trade out of Toronto. I'd welcome it, too. I was never much of a fan and he didn't have a great season. If they trade him now, they could get something decent in return. If they wait and he has another very average season, his value will be crap next season.
I'm also on my way to a Worlds game this afternoon. Canada/Germany. Should be stellar.

Leave it to a Penguins fan to come up with that, out of what I said. I was complaining how the penalties came out in the favor. I could care less who faces us. Id rather have the Flyers but hell its the Penguins/Red Wings, we can shut up the media about that Kid

Im not, but watching a hockey game and seeing Sidney Crosby in 5 different commercials gets annoying after a while. We get that he's talented but he doesnt need to be in EVERY commercial
