This was just announced on the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast. In 2019, Mattel will be adding store exclusive figures to Elite waves. In addition to chase Elites like Benjamin and Hawkins, certain stores will get entirely new characters as well. Elite 63 will have Bob Backlund (Walmart only) Elite 64 will have Pete Dunne (Target) Elite 65 will have Sensational Sherri (Walmart) Elite 66 will have Alexander Wolfe (Target) And for those that want to listen, it’s announced at about 1:07:45 into this weeks podcast. (Episode 7)  |

Now it will be certain that all stores in the chain will actually get those specific series in, right? And not skip them because they have too much backlog of old leftovers, right? It's bad enough to only have one chain option to scoop up a figure. It would suck outright if you miss these figs because your nearest store had too many John Cena's laying around. At least the only one of those I want is Dunne, and I'll pay up for him if I can't find him myself. Pretty odd way to do things tho.

So Bill was right about Backlund all along, lol.
But yeah, I'm with most of the others on here ... I think this will be brutal for most of us. I have a hard enough time finding any Flashback line at my Wal-Mart much less a rarity, so I'm sure I'll have to resort to ebay. Ugh.

MDT insisted that Backlund was gonna be included somehow with E63, while it was later reported it would be exclusive to Walmart. The GameStop rumor came from what was apparently a mislabeled slide from WWE.com, if I recall. Would be so much easier to get a hold of these exclusives if GameStop had carried this one and all others though... |

Once the 33 collectors that live near a Walmart that want it have bought it, itll be heavily discounted and availavle for cheap on ebay, or, ringside gets the so called store exclusives too dont they?

Flashbacks are now going to be even harder to get in the UK. It ain’t fun no more, kid. They arent harder to get, its not available in the uk and never has been or will be, its the same difficulty, you have ebay or maybe a member on here can grab you one, thats how i get mine |
