Naturally "The Guy" should be Seth Rollins and why? He is the most over in the company right now and after what happened just this past Monday on RAW with Ambrose turning heel on Rollins that should be enough to garner sympathy for Rollins given that he has just lost essentially 2 brothers in one night. Not to mention Rollins he puts on show-stealing matches every single night and he is probably one of the best in ring performers in the company right now. Hell back in 2015 before Rollins' injury happened I thought that he would become The Guy then but it didn't happen. However, Rollins he has beaten probably the best superstars that this company has put out in Cena, HHH, Lesnar, Sting just to name a few. Rollins has virtually done it all and he is still at a good age to be "The Guy". He reminds me so much of a young New Generation 95-96 Shawn Michaels in terms of his ability in the ring but also Rollins is charismatic which is another reason why he should be The Guy going forward. A real workhorse in this company. For me it is Rollins or no one.

I think they’re going to be in a transition period for the most part where they experiment with a few guys in the main event role. Who knows how long Roman is going to be gone. Could be a few months or it could be years. But I definitely think Seth should get a shot first and foremost. He was on a role post-Mania. Kinda plateaued for awhile once the Shield got back together because him and Dean seemed like a utility for Roman. Now that Dean turned on Seth I think they’re going to have something special going soon. If I was booking I’d do Seth vs Dean for the Universal title at Mania.
I wouldn’t rush that program yet. I’d have Seth try for weeks, maybe even months to try to forgive Dean. But Dean continues to act more vile and just do something that really crosses the line, which forces Seth to finally fight back.

Braun, Seth, Dean. Then Roman comes back and is the champ once again.

It should be Tye Dillinger, but it'll be either Braun or Seth. Which is fine. I like Braun. I like Seth.

Seth Rollins. Here's the most over babyface on the roster who's young enough to carry the company for the next 5-6 years.

Think about it in the context of "what Vince wants". Easy catchphrase for the crowd to latch onto? Check. Turn said catchphrase into marketable merchandise? Check. A "face" moveset that the crowd can get behind? Check. They've mishandled the hell out of him since he got called up from NXT. As far as I can tell the only thing working against him is he isnt a puffed up roid freak. If the machine was behind him, he would be the next Daniel Bryan.

Nobody, Roman Reigns is THE Guy, there'll just be a stand in, no current superstar comes close, Strowman possibly, but he's a bit boring, possibly Ambrose, he's another edge of your seat superstar

this year more than ever, they could use going back to the 4 on 4 Survivor Series format, since it'll distract from the fact that there is no one draw. Team Dean vs Team Rollins with 8 guys on top will be a bigger draw than a 1 on 1 between them, and it preserves the 1 on 1 at least for a month until they hot shot it on Raw

Dillinger is a pretty decent worker. But I can name about 15-20 guys on the current roster who are better than him. That’s not a knock on him because not everyone can main event. You can’t compare him to Bryan because he’s not nearly as good.

I saw Bryan Danielson live in ROH defend his heavyweight title a decade ago - if you’d said then that this small albeit talented individual would cement his place in the industry higher than other technical wrestlers such as Guerrero or even Malenko it would have been a hard argument to make. yet that is exactly what occurred. Dillinger had probably the best match last year out of all WWE matches - he can stare straight into a camera confidently. there is nothing more or less there than what one could’ve argued for DB at one time.

Which Dillinger match was the best match in WWE last year? Against who? That’s news to me. & anyone can look confidently into the camera. What separates him from a Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, AJ Styles? It’s not like he’s a bad wrestler. I’m not saying that. But you can get a ton of guys that can do exactly what he does. Daniel Bryan found the personality that took him to the next level. I don’t see that at all in Dillinger. I could be proven wrong and eat my words. But I just don’t see what you see in him.

I completely fooked up and confused Tyler Bate with Tye Dillinger. I’m blaming it on no coffee this morning.
