Hello everyone. Admit I'm a little new to this site, so forgive me for what is probably an easy question. I'm trying to hunt down 3 extremely rare figures (AAA Kelian's), but literally NEVER see them on eBay. I wanted to throw this out there, in the hopes someone could answer and guide. Besides eBay and occasionally Googling the exact figure, what other methods can someone use to attempt to track down a rare figure? I keep hearing Zack and Curt mention "Instagram" as a source to buy figures, but am unsure how this works. Any assistance or guidance is beyond appreciated in this manner. I thank anyone in advance.

Regarding instagram , you would search for a phrase ie #aaa or any other figure/line you’re after .(in photos) Then you just have to look at the pics and really just direct message the owner of the photo to see if they would sell . Yahoo auction is good for the Asia figures .

I have heard some talk about facebook forums, but everything is so scattered these days, it is hard to say, especially for the 3 you are talking about. Then again, some go to mercado libre, the spanish auction place, IIRC.

Not sure why you'd want to go anywhere but eBay, its the safest place to buy and has more sellers than anywhere else

Since Kelian AAA figures are Mexican, Mercado Libre is your best shot. Back in 2005 Kelian AAA figures were easy to find on Ebay, these days not so much.

Ebay has scammers too. In the 20 years I've used Ebay I bought 3 Hasbro WWF Collector's cases, NONE arrived.

By my standards? eBay has buyer protection, as does paypal, and no offence but i call BS on the collector case story

I really bought on 3 seperate occasions a WWF Collector's case, none of them got delivered. Last time was 4 years ago, I've since given up bidding on or buying those WWF Collector's cases.

I used to have tons of luck on Facebook about 6 years ago, but in the past 5 years or so there have been TONS of people making new groups and wanting to run their own pages. Instead of 3 or 4 groups with 5,000 people in each one... you've got 30 groups with 500 people. Too spread out and too annoying to join that many

I will keep checking weekly however

If you don't look for references and send money Friends/Family... you're asking for trouble.

I have found that if you search for foreign wrestling terms you can come up big. Got a couple of rare spanish things coming up.
