Is it safe to give Titan Tron Lives a fig bath? Not sure because of the metal on the bottom of their feet.

Depending on what you are trying to clean off, I would use a cloth, cotton swabs or something like that and some water and a cleaner. I wouldn’t submerge them, but in the same token I found it never changed how the metal on the feet worked if they did get wet.

Use a screw driver and remove the metal piece and replace it once it's dry also once it's clean put it in a towel and shake it so the water comes out of inside the joints.
Or you could always just wipe them down good with Clorox wipes. Anti bacterial too.

Wondering why you think that. It's perfectly safe. I and many others, especially customisers do it all the time with dish soap. It works great to remove oils (from hands) and dust, and is necessary for customising to remove the oil lubricants that figures have on them straight out of packaging. Just have to dry off well if you're worried about anything. But I have never encountered any problems even if not dried fully.

Not OP, but in terms of a "Fig Bath" involving full submersion, I personally avoid it with BCAs, Hasbros, OSFTMs, etc. due to the high probability of water permeating the enclosed parts of figures (torsos, etc.). Even on the BCAs that don't have internal mechanisms like the Hasbros and OSFTMs have an enclosed enough portion of the figure that I'd rather not risk getting wet, lest I increase the probability of mold/mildew/etc. I suppose if you're opening internals, it's less of an issue, but anything that might facilitate the sort of negative aspects of standing water, to say nothing of any potential rust on springs, TTL actuators, etc., is something I personally avoid submerging. I've gotten quite adept at spot cleaning my BCAs without worry.

the foot is only a resistor soldered to the 2 metal pads the resistance variation is what tells the playsets what song to play depending on what amp/volt-age is running through the circuit when the figure completes it.
best not to get it wet but i believe it was a rust free material

When I used to buy large lots on eBay and then sell them individually, I always washed every figure in a huge plastic tub with no issues. I would fill the bin with hot water and some dish soap, then put as many figures as I could in there, let them soak for a while and then wipe them down with a washcloth. Then I would lay them out on a towel and let them dry. I would also shake them for a few seconds to get any water out of their insides. I did that with any and all figures that I would get and never had anyone complain about any issues. Some figures would come FILTHY, and then they would look brand new when I was done.

For those saying not to submerge articulated figs in water, what do you do about part swapping? I’ve always soaked my figs in very warm water for head, boot, and arm swaps.
