Came out at Walmarts on October 16th. www.arcade1up.com/Mine only had the Asteroids and Galaga versions. They stuck them in a spot beside the music section, I almost didn't notice them there..

I almost pulled the trigger on the Street Fighter one but I'm going to wait. Turtles Arcade and Turtles in Time together on one machine is my hope. I have a bunch of arcade games added on my SNES Classic. So while I love the novelty of these I need one that really hits on my childhood. Turtles Arcade is my favorite arcade game of all time.

if you have a little bit of technical know how, you can make your own arcade system and be able to play all the arcade games you want; not sure if you can make it for less than what's being offered here at Walmart

I work at Walmart in electronics. These are selling horribly at my store. We've sold 2 in the last month, both to the same guy. They didnt sell when we had them for 100 off either. I'm expecting these to get clearanced after the Christmas season.

I'm expecting these to get clearanced after the Christmas season. I don't know what they were expecting. They're charging close to PS4/Xbox prices for a balsa wood cabinet with garbage controls for, what, four games? I saw a post on Facebook where some moron bought one of these then spent $500 "fixing it up." He completely gutted it. Put in Pandora's Box (kinda like a PiCade) and new arcade quality controls. And he has to buy all new wiring to connect his Pandora's Box to the screen since it's just a bare LCD. He had the nerve to be shocked when I told him that he could have built a better MAME cabinet with the money he spent.

Buy literally anything other than this. Hell you'd be better off getting a modded first gen Xbox and putting that in an arcade cabinet with one of those bullcrapX-Arcade sticks.

I already have the game multiple times over. This would be a playable decoration. I think people are kind of missing the point on these. It’s not for the retro pie crowd who want 1000 games on one machine. It’s for idvidual fans of the licenses they are putting out. The OG cabinets are still extremely expensive and these are a great rerelease style piece with nice artwork and professional assembly at a lower price. It’s a fun man cave novelty. Not a master arcade emulator.

My fault for not understanding. I played the Street Fighter one in Walmart and thought it was an ok build for $250. The joysticks were a little too close together, and I hate that you have to buy an extension to get them where they need to be height wise but i thought they were overall ok quality.

Google the company and check out Facebook. There are nothing but complaints. LCDs and controlls failing after a few weeks, artwork being rubbed off with minimal use, things like that. Apparently they had production issues and had to have retailers push back the original relase date and some cabinets were accidentally shipped with replacement parts stuck inside the box from the factory. This whole thing has been a fiasco. I was REALLY disappointed when I found this out because I had been looking forward to buying one.
